The unit also has a working area with sit stand desk. The space The Shire – Farmhouse Apartment Welcome to The Shire, located in a charming farmhouse apartment building on 10 scenic acres. Conveniently situated near Rt. 100, local shops, and Route 422, it offers both comfort and a peaceful country setting. The apartment is close to the hill school, bear creek, 422, boyertown railroad, and many local attractions. Layout & Features Downstairs: Kitchen – Fully stocked with an ice maker, water filter, toaster, oven, coffee maker (K-cups or grounds), dishes, mugs, wine glasses, and more. Living Room – Open to the kitchen, with space to relax or gather. Workspace Area – Equipped with a motorized sit-stand desk. Extra Sleeping Option – Queen inflatable air mattress available in the living room (sleeps 2 additional guests). (please let us know if you will need this setup). Front Porch – Perfect for morning coffee or tea, with evening views of deer and local wildlife. Upstairs: Master Bedroom – King-size bed with a Tuft & Needle mattress. Second Bedroom – Two twin beds (can be converted to a king upon request; default is separate twins). Full Bathroom – Plus ample closet space in each bedroom. Road Access Note 🚗 The road to our Airbnb is a true country road—slightly bumpy in spots. Please drive slowly and carefully. Most vehicles can access it without issues. We like to think the scenic, quiet setting is worth the ride! 🌿 Location: located near 422, boyertown, gilbertsville, and pottstown. the airbnb is close to the colebrookdale railroad, gazzos steaks, and less than 30 minutes from bear creek ski and spa resort. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire apartment for the duration of the stay. Mail- The mailbox requires a key, if you have mail delivered please make sure you address the mail for the full address: with Apartment 1 listed on the address. The mailbox number for Apartment 1 is #2. We can provide you with a key should you need to access mail during your stay. Other things to note Other Details to Note Country Road Access: The property is on a true country road — a little bumpy in spots. Please drive slowly; most vehicles have no trouble. Wildlife Sightings: You may see deer, foxes, and other local wildlife. Please enjoy them from a distance. Outdoor cats also reside on property and are cared for by other residents. Two-Story Layout: Bedrooms and the bathroom are located upstairs, accessible by stairs. Extra Sleeping Space: A queen inflatable mattress is available in the living room upon request. We also have a third trundle twin beds for the 2nd bedroom so you can sleep three in that room as well as the air mattress for the living room. Bed Setup Options: The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be converted into a king — please request this before your stay so we can prepare it. Farmhouse Charm: This is a historic farmhouse-style building, which means some floors may creak and surfaces may not be perfectly level — part of its unique charm. On-Site Parking: Free parking is available on the property. (Please make sure to park in designated parking spot for apartment 1). If you are bringing more than 1 vehicle please let your host know.
