Things to do: •Weeki Wachee Springs State Park (6.5 miles / 12 mins): World-famous live mermaid shows, kayak/paddleboard rentals down a crystal-clear spring river, and a water park. •​Delta Woods Park (3 miles / 7 mins): Great local spot with walking trails, playgrounds, tennis courts, and open green space. •​Historic Bayport Park (11.5 miles / 20 mins): Scenic Gulf coast boardwalk, fishing pier, boat ramp, and one of the best sunset views in the area. •​Alfred A. McKethan Pine Island Park (14.5 miles / 25 mins): The closest natural sandy beach on the Gulf, featuring swimming areas, volleyball, and picnic pavilions. Guest access Eufy lock on the front door. Other things to note To experience the river without the workout of paddling back upstream, we highly recommend reserving a pet-friendly boat in advance from Weeki Wachee Boat Rentals! Propane is on guests to buy/ supply. You can swap it at the Walgreens 1.8 miles away. 4096 Mariner Blvd Pet Policy: We gladly welcome your well-behaved pups. Please ensure all pets are included in your guest count (max 2 per stay) when booking. Pet fees of $175 per pet per stay applies. Important Pool Information: ​Please do not tamper with equipment, as this can damage the pump. ​Heating (Nov 1 – March 31): Pool heating is available for an additional fee ($150 for the first 3 days + $10/day thereafter). ​Performance: We aim for 83-85°F+, but please note that if outdoor temps drop below 60°F or heavy rain is in the area, heater efficiency will decrease. Please let us know 3 days in advance so we can start the heater before your trip! Safety & Security: For your peace of mind and the security of the property, exterior security cameras monitor the perimeter of the home. Quiet hours start at 10:00 PM to respect our wonderful residential neighborhood.
