Hummingbird Haven is a 3-bed, 2-bath creekside nest where the birds flutter by and fun comes naturally. Lounge by the fountain, fire up the propane firepit, or take your turn at giant Connect Four. Inside, the open layout is made to relax and has a new mini split HVAC system. Wander out back to the creek for a hammock lounge or just pretend you’re “off the grid” (even if you’re still checking the socials). Chill vibes and winged visitors included. The second of four cabins beyond our gated entry, this charming getaway offers a peaceful place to recharge, explore, and take in the beauty of the Sierra. Stepping into Hummingbird Haven, you’re welcomed by a lush side yard with a manicured lawn and a charming fountain, creating the perfect setting to relax and unwind. The open-concept living room, dining area, and kitchen provide a warm, inviting space for gathering with loved ones, while large windows fill the cabin with natural light and serene views. Outside, the backyard firepit is the perfect spot to sit under the stars, soaking up the fresh mountain air and the peaceful sounds of the creek. Lawn games, including a giant Connect Four, add a fun touch for guests of all ages. Take a leisurely stroll along the creekside trail, lounge in a hammock, or enjoy a moment of stillness by the water. Ready for adventure? Lace up your hiking boots, take out an ATV, or grab a mountain bike and explore the vast trails of the Sierra National Forest. Rent one of our double deck pontoon boats for a day on Bass Lake, or cruise the scenic highways on your way to Yosemite. Whether you're here for a romantic retreat, a family getaway, or simply a place to reconnect with nature, Hummingbird Haven is the perfect escape. Located in the Exact Center of California, the Creekside Roost is surrounded by the stunning Sierra National Forest, offering boundless outdoor adventure. The Sierra Vista Scenic Byway begins right here, guiding you through oak, pine, and cedar trees, past granite peaks, alpine meadows, and historic landmarks. A scenic 45-minute drive brings you to Yosemite National Park’s Southern Entrance, where you can marvel at waterfalls, towering cliffs, and breathtaking views of Half Dome. Closer to home, Bass Lake is just minutes away, offering the perfect spot for boating, fishing, or lakeside relaxation. Whether you’re chasing adventure or seeking serenity, North Fork is the perfect basecamp. We currently have three cabins for rent at Creekside Roost Resort, each accommodating 6+ guests.
