Experience the PNW from our cozy tiny house! Nestled in nature yet just 5 min. to town and within 25 min. of the Olympic National Park's beaches, this home offers privacy and amenities including kitchenette, queen bed, spacious bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi, quality indoor and outdoor furniture, fully fenced yard, orchard, propane grill, and a fire pit (free fire wood provided). Spectacular stargazing! It’s the perfect getaway for relaxation and adventure! The space HOUSE FYI'S: - Cell service and Wi-Fi can be spotty throughout the peninsula. We offer the best available Wi-Fi (Starlink). - We do not have cable or local TV channels, but we do provide a Smart TV for streaming. - The yard is fully fenced. Please make sure to close the gate if you do not wish neighbor's dogs to visit. These dogs are friendly, and they do not come over on a regular basis, but it may happen. Closing the gate will also prevent your animals from roaming. - We are pet friendly and happily welcome your furry friends! We require that pets be crated during your stay if left unsupervised in the house. Pets are also not allowed on furniture (beds or couch). This is a small house and not well suited for large dogs. Dogs heavier that 60lb are not allowed (registered service animals are always allowed). If you are traveling with a dog, please keep a close watch to make sure they do not interact with wildlife. Deer and Elk are abundant, cougars and bears can be around as well (rarely). - We have wall heaters and please free to turn those on as necessary! There is also a portable space heater for exceptionally chilly nights. Please make sure to turn off wall heaters when leaving for day trips etc. - There is a folding table for games etc. behind the sofa. - The house is equipped with outdoor Blink cameras. The cameras will be turned off during your stay. - We provide are extra linens & blankets Guest access We hope the weather cooperates and that you will be able to use the outdoor spaces! We kindly ask you not to enter the orchards and areas with tall grass. These areas are utilized by ground-nesting birds and other wildlife sensitive to disturbance. Other things to note Fire wood: We always try to provide free firewood for our guests. Having a camp fire under the dark night sky is a great thing! Please be mindful with the quantities you use to make sure all guests have a chance to enjoy a camp fire! We will restock wood but if large quantities are used this may become difficult for us to manage. Burn bans: We will let you know if there is a burn ban in place. If there is a burn ban it is key to follow the rules to protect forests, infrastructure - and lives.
