Welcome to Coleman Cabin- our small but well-appointed chalet in the Adirondacks. We are located close to Whiteface Mountain, Lake Placid, Ausable Chasm, and fishing on the Ausable River. The neighborhood is called Ausable Acres where each home is separated from its neighbors by trees thereby offering considerable privacy. Here you will experience the magic of mountain living where every sunrise brings new adventures and every evening ends with the crackling warmth of your own fireside retreat. The space The Cabin: Step inside to discover the warm embrace of tongue-and-groove knotty pine throughout, creating an authentic Adirondack atmosphere. The thoughtfully designed open floor plan seamlessly connects the kitchen, dining area (seating for four), and cozy sitting area around the wood stove. Sleeping Accommodations: • One bedroom with new queen-size log bed • Charming sleeping loft with new queen-size log bed • Comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests Modern Amenities: • Newly remodeled bathroom with spacious walk-in shower and overhead lighting • Fully equipped kitchen: electric cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker • Complete cookware and dishes for four - perfect for home-cooked meals • High-speed internet and two USB charging stations • Three-zone electric heating system for year-round comfort • Wood stove for cozy evenings around the fire Convenience & Location: • The Acres has a lake, miles of trails for hiking or cross-country skiing and a picnic pavilion area. For fisherpersons, there is access to the Ausable river less than two miles away. • Just three miles from all essentials: Tops Supermarket, Stewart's Gas & Convenience, movie theater, pizzeria with live music, and liquor store - everything you need for a comfortable stay. Depending on size, breed, and training, we can make exceptions. Please note that if an exception is made, there will be a $100 pet cleaning fee. • Guests have access to Lake Eaton, tennis courts, and hiking trails, located in the Au Sable Acres community. • Organic and eco-friendly cleaning products used. • All-natural shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. • Fresh linens, blankets, towels, cookware, kitchen utensils, dishes, glasses, etc... all provided. •The following items are also supplied (enough to get you started): toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, and laundry detergent.
