Farmhouse by the Creek

Cozy 3-bedroom, 2-bath farmhouse nestled on 12 acres of Schuylkill County countryside. Tucked away along the Little Mahanoy Creek, the Farmhouse offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, making it a great escape for families, friends, or anyone looking to unwind in nature. The property has plenty of parking for trailers/ATVs and is in close proximity to the Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area, Knoebels Amusement Resort (30 mins), and many other local favorites. The space The property has a nice-sized front and back yards for outdoor activities and has direct, private access to the Little Mahanoy Creek, which is a small but beautiful trout-stocked waterway that you're welcome to fish at. If you cross the bridge (please be careful!!), you can adventure along the creek for a nature stroll. Our chickens (Bubblegum, Betsy, Blondie, Brownie, Sapphire, and Jasmine) free range in the fenced in back yard. If that’s an issue, please let us know. They're extremely friendly and will mostly keep their distance unless they suspect you have treats for them (we always try to leave a cup of worms on the back porch for guests), in which case they’ll follow you everywhere. Unfortunately, they are not potty trained, so you may need to navigate some landmines in the yard. We will do our best to keep the back yard as clean as possible during your stay. We also added 4 goats to the family earlier this year. Elvis, Marilyn, Jolene, and Dolly are always excited to make new friends, and constantly sweet talk their way into animal cracker treats. Guest access You have access to the entire property except for the garage as well as the barns. Other things to note We have a Tesla EV charger available at an adjacent property (1-minute drive; ~10 minute walk).
