Middletown Woodland Cabin

Peaceful little cabin south of Middletown. A short trip up a dirt road takes you straight to another world. This charming cabin was originally built in 1946 as a summer retreat but has been recently updated with a full kitchen and other amenities such as Starlink WiFi. Centrally located right off highway 29. 3.5 miles to downtown Middletown, 7 miles to Harbin, 15 miles to Calistoga. The space The cabin is about 430 square feet. Full kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, dishes, and cookware. Full size bathroom with tub and shower. The bedroom features a queen size bed. Starlink Wi-Fi and a smart TV with free Netflix. There are built in wall heaters for the winter and a stand alone a/c unit for the summer. Ceiling fans in the kitchen and bedroom. We are partially off grid with gravity fed mountain spring water. The cabin is located on a dirt road conveniently located minutes from CA Highway 29. Parking available. Guest access The cabin is on a rural dirt road and access to and from the cabin to the parking area is unpaved. There is a porch light and motion detector lights to help guide your way at night. The keys to the front door and to the security screen door are available in a lockbox on the front door. The speed limit is about 10 miles per hour or less from the highway to the cabin. Other things to note Please note that we are in a woodland space and in fire country. We take safety seriously. No open flames anywhere in or around the property. No BBQ, no fireworks, no smoking, no candles. The animals and birds are an integral part of our life up here in the mountains. Sometimes the outdoors does come in, so you may see the occasional lizard running through in the cabin. No worries - they are harmless! After dark, it is advisable to stay close to home as at that point the mountain belongs to the wildlife that lives here. This is a very quiet spot - so if peace and quiet is something that you cherish, you will feel right at home! The mountain and I are looking forward to hosting you!
