Hello We hope you love Badgers Cottage Our cottage is set in the heart of the cove, overlooking the bay towards the harbour wall to the sea. Watch the Lifeboat launch & fishing boats come and go. The view is very special & forever changing ! See and hear the sea and be on the beach in a couple of minutes. Walk down our path and stand on the seafront or relax in the front garden with a glass of wine and enjoy the fantastic view & sunset. New windows & new bathroom with slipper bath ! The space Amazing open plan sitting room - dining space with a large inglenook fireplace with wood burner . Renovated home . Fully redecorated with wooden floors painted furniture and wrought iron single beds in the second bedroom Bedroom 3 and 4 fully renovated with wood panelled walls - feb 2020. New bathroom April 21! - Slipper bath . All bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs . Fab kitchen - stone floor and retro fridge . New windows throughout added - 2020. New renovated bedrooms - 2020. New bathroom 2021 with freestanding bath . An outside cold water shower in the back garden for guest use . Fabulous front garden with dining table - Al fresco - amazing sea views . Guest access Amazing enclosed front garden with spectacular views . Granite table and beautiful stone walls... Access is via the rear pathway by the pub and through back garden to the small cottage garden. Note : A garden hut for owner storage and use means the larger part of the back garden is for access only . Please lock the back gate during your stay . Please do not allow children and pets in this garden space . Please keep the back gate locked at all times during your stay . No parking available at the property . 2 car parks in the cove with daily rates and weekly rates . You can park by the road side to unload only. During the winter months it has always been possible to park on the Cove road - however new parking restrictions in place from 2022/3 which do not allow parking - Check local signage . Other things to note Housekeeping Please familiarise yourself with the guest information booklet to ensure you understand  what is expected of you as a guest in our home .  Please read the updated general waste / recycling collection instructions which all guests need to follow . Info in the guest book . Please take GLASS BOTTLES. Home with you . Few gentle reminders -  Please respect our home and treat it kindly .  Please do not wear shoes inside our cottage  Please only bring soft luggage - Wheelie bags mark and scratch our wooden floors !  Bin day is MONDAY MORNING -- early morning ! Please place the appropriate bin - or bags out on Sunday evening . Important info Fire/water extinguishers provided - Also - Smoke detectors  Carbon monoxide detectors  Heat alarm  Fire blanket  Fire guard  Use only SEASONED wood in the wood burner No smoking / vaping in the cottage Note - We provide one hand towel and bath mat in each bathroom plus general sundries in the kitchen. Please bring your own BATH and BEACH towels.  * • Check in is from 4 pm * • Check out is by 9 am Please note if you become locked out the cleaning company chargea £35 call out fee to bring you a key - which will be deducted from the initial housekeeping deposit waiver./ via Airbnb . Lost keys or misplaced keys will also incur a call out charge plus a replacement key fee and time charged . Fab front garden with amazing views - Dining area outside . Outside shower and courtyard garden - outside the kitchen . We have finally upgraded our old wooden hut which will be used for storage in the back garden. We ask kindly that you use the larger back garden only for access to the rear gate and pathway . Please lock the back gate during and after your stay .
