Perfectly furnished for a frightfully good time, this eerie escape has everything you need for a hauntingly memorable stay. The space The Haunted Mansion at Hales Bar Marina & Resort Welcome to your haunted hilltop getaway! This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin sleeps 6 souls and is nestled into the wooded hillside, overlooking the stunning Tennessee River. Whether you're drawn here for the view or the vibes, the Haunted Mansion offers a cozy and eerie escape. Unwind by candlelight, soak in the peaceful atmosphere, and maybe… keep an eye out for things that go bump in the night. The property itself is steeped in spooktacular history. Once Cherokee land, this site is where the legendary Chief Dragging Canoe waged war and is said to have cursed the land—a curse that may still linger today. Our haunted past has attracted the likes of Ghost Adventures, Kindred Spirits, and countless YouTubers and podcasters. Be sure to take the DAM Tour during your stay—we run them every Saturday and Sunday and they're full of eerie tales and jaw-dropping history. If you're visiting in the fall, you're in for a real treat (or trick): our Haunted House runs from the last weekend of September through Halloween (sometimes into the first weekend of November, depending on the calendar). There’s nowhere else quite like this. Between the ghosts, the gorgeous views, and the ghoulish good times, you won’t want to miss it. Guest access There is a seasonal saltwater pool that is open Memorial Day thru Labor Day. However, during that time we sometimes have to close for cleaning/maintenance. We also lock up if lightning is within 7 miles of our location for safety reasons. The pool hours are the same as the Hales Bar Marina office, once staff goes home, the pool is locked for safety reasons. Anyone caught jumping the fence will incur a $200 fee. If the gate is locked, it is for a reason! Guests have free usage of paddle boats, water bikes, and kayaks. Guests may fish anywhere on property, just not on the boat docks to protect our marina customers property from hook damage. Guests get a 5% discount at Dam Whiskey Co on property (minus alcohol) Good for tours and the gift shop! Must have bands on. Guests also get 5% discount at a local restaurant close to us called the Upper Bank if wearing their bands. Other things to note 🛏️ The Ghostly Retreat Features: Master Gracey Room – 1 King Bed Madame Leota Room – 2 Twin Beds Hatbox Ghost Room – 1 Queen Bed 2 Full Bathrooms- We provide a hair dryer, hand soap, travel size shampoo/conditioner/lotion, q-tips, cotton pads, first aid kit, towels, and toilet paper Stocked kitchen- We provide coffee, creamer, sugar, various spices, cleaning products, microwave, toaster, blender, pots/pans, utensils, everything you need to cook a spooky good meal. As of now, there is no ice maker but we have ice trays. Also no dishwasher so bring paper products if you don't want to wash dishes. Washer and dryer- We provide laundry detergent 🏡 Guest Access You’ll have full access to the entire house, plus the marina property. To keep this Ghostly Retreat in tip-top spooky shape for future souls, we ask that you respect the following otherworldly rules: 🕯️ Do Not Disturb the Haunted Relics All furnishings, frightful decor, linens, and supernatural props belong to this haunted home. 👻 They’re bound to this place... and they tend to get angry when taken. Please do not remove or attempt to “adopt” any items. Missing items will be considered theft, and a curse—er, charge—will be placed upon you. 🧛 Beware of Breaking the Spell (or the Furniture) This home is enchanted—and just like any ancient mansion, it doesn’t take kindly to rough treatment. Please treat the space with care and report any damages immediately. Major damage beyond normal use may awaken the spirits... and result in repair or replacement charges. 💀 Security Curse (a.k.a. Deposit) If anything mysteriously vanishes or gets destroyed in a supernatural mishap, additional charges may apply.
