First floor: Three bedrooms - Master with kingsize bed; Bedroom 2 with double bed & bunk-beds; Bedroom 3 with single bed. Downstairs there is a spacious lounge with plenty of seating for a family. The lounge has an open fire and with three large windows is both light and airy. The dining room has seating for 6 but will accommodate 8 at its large table. The kitchen is fitted with an new Beling Range cooker, with a 5 ring hob. There is also an microwave and a George Foreman grill - thus catering for all cooking styles. The fully tiled family bathroom (recently fully modernised) is on the ground floor & comprises bath with shower & shower screen, wash hand basin, low-level WC, and underfloor heating. There is also a large utility room with stainless steel sink unit, washing machine, and large airing cupboard. The garden is walled and fenced so is secure for children of all ages, and also has the benefit of both on and off road car parking spaces. There are lots of places to discover in Ardnamurchan, and Sanna Bay (just 5 miles from Kilchoan) has to seen to be believed!. The village pub is just 100yards from Morvern Cottage & the shop (the Ferry Stores) is just 1 mile away. The Ferry Stores is a general store (and petrol station) and can provide everything you might need for your holiday - bar the kitchen sink!! There are rib trips from Kilchoan to Staffa & Lunga, a slipway for dinghies, medical services, trout fishing, boat hire, Ardnamurchan Lighthouse Visitor Centre, and Glenborrodale Castle are within 10 miles of the house. There are also whale and dolphin watching cruises available. Resipole Art Gallery, Ardtornish Gardens and Railway, Castle Tioram and Tobermory Distillery are all within easy reach. Cafe Fish restaurant is 4 miles away, by ferry, in Tobermory. (Cafe Fish won the Good Food UK Fish Restaurant of the Year 2012 - a fantastic place to eat - and amazing value!). Electricity is included for the first 3 people, each extra person is charged £10 to cover additional servicing costs. High chair and cot are available (please advise at time of booking if required). No bed linen or towels are provided. However there are pillows, duvets and bed covers in the house. Other things to note This rental is provided to feel like a home but also on the bases you leave the cottage as you find it. If extra cleaning is needed after your stay, some or all of the security deposit will be kept to cover our costs.
