The space This beautiful recently remodeled apartment is decorated with western decorations throughout, bringing out the Texas spirit in everyone! The outside patio overlooks a ranch that houses miniature Scottish Highlander cows, Zebu cows, Kune Kune pigs, goats, sheep, donkeys, alpacas, ponies, beautiful fluffyJapanese Silky Chickens, ducks, peacocks, parrots, tortoises and Luke the Lemur! *Availability of all species not guaranteed as we are a children’s entertainment company that travels different seasons of the year. *April through July animals are housed at our petting farm 30 minutes away. Free admission included with your stay! Guest access The apartment is part of a large country home, with its own private entry, via an external staircase. The left portion of the main driveway at the base of the stairwell is reserved only for our guests. Beautiful serene setting. Other things to note We are approximately 35 minutes from DFW airport, 45 minutes from Love Field. We are located on a serene country road set in a beautiful neighborhood surrounded by 10 acre ranches throughout. We are 6 miles away from one of the three designated practice soccer fields in DFW for The World Champion Soccer Tournament! We are 17 miles away from ATT STADIUM where the tournament will be held! Westland Ranch homes a variety of species of animals, as we are one of the most popular animal entertainment company’s in the North Texas area. From April 18-July 26, and the month of October, the majority of our animals are at our petting farm in Irving, about 25 minutes from our ranch. During these months, there are not a lot of animals at the ranch. We offer free general admission passes for our petting farm to our guests upon request prior to check-in during their stay with us! If time is available, we offer a personalized private tour at the petting farm only for AIRBNB guests. Westand Ranch is a USDA licensed facility and liability insured. Guests will enjoy the “country” setting, but also will appreciate that we are centered in between the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, with national sports events, airports, major museums along with so many sight-seeing opportunities all within 30-45 minutes from the apartment. We are also within 10 minutes of grocery stores, movie theaters, wonderful restaurants, etc. Ask ahead if you have questions! We also have plenty of extra room to park a trailer!! Can’t back up a trailer? Lots of room for the novice trailer driver to turn around without backing up!!
