Great River Bike Trail - Ride along the Mississippi with beautiful river views and charming small towns along the way. Golf Courses - Tee off at nearby courses, perfect for a relaxing day outdoors. Public Boat Launch (1 mi) & Private Dock - Easy access to the river makes boating, kayaking, and fishing an absolute must. Nearby Towns - Explore the charming shops, restaurants, and nightlife of Savanna, Fulton, and Clinton, or take a day trip to Galena (36 mi). Just a ~1-hour scenic drive to Chestnut Mountain Resort - ideal for skiing, zip lines, the alpine slide, river cruises, and mini-golf. This area is known for excellent deer, turkey, and waterfowl hunting (please observe local regulations) 🚤 River Access & Dock Please note that access to the river and private dock is via a set of steep outdoor steps. The steps lead you down the bluff directly to the water’s edge, making it easy to launch kayaks, cast a fishing line, or simply enjoy the views up close. While the steps provide an authentic “river cabin” feel, they may not be suitable for very young children, elderly guests, or those with mobility challenges. Our river house sits on pool 13 of the Mississippi River, a beautiful stretch known for its wide waters, backwater channels and excellent fishing for bass, catfish and crappie. Wildlife is abundant, and the sunsets are unforgettable. Boaters should use extra caution as this area has submerged stumps and hidden hazards, so it is safest to stay in the main channel when navigating. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire home, deck, yard, fire pit, and private boat dock. 🚫 No garage access 🐾 No pets allowed 🚭 No smoking inside the cabin 🎉 No Parties or Events To maintain a peaceful environment for our guests and neighbors, parties and events are not allowed at the cabin. The home is self-check-in with a smart lock for your convenience. Other things to note 🛎️ Starter Supplies For your convenience, we provide a starter supply of essentials - including toiletries, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee and cream, and garbage bags—to help you settle in. A list will be provided to you one week prior to check-in. Depending on the length of your stay and group size, you may wish to bring along additional items. ⚠️ Safety Notice Because the property sits directly on the riverfront and includes access to a dock, children must be supervised at all times when outdoors.
