Our back yard is due to be re-sodded mid-summer. There may be muddy patches if it rains. If it's muddy, please just stick to the path that leads to the patio area under the carport. We appreciate your understanding. Vacationing in the Arkansas countryside can be a relaxing and rewarding experience. However, country life is a little different than that of the city or suburbs. You may hear roosters crow in the morning, and distant coyotes or owls call at night. There are also various bugs and mosquitos that are a fact of life in Arkansas. We use mosquito mitigation measures and we have Magnolia Grove professionally sprayed for pests, but the occasional ladybug or stinkbug may find its way inside the house on a windowsill or floor, especially if it is warmer inside the house than it is outside. If a fly gets in the house, we have a flyswatter hanging on the refrigerator. We recommend that you do not leave doors or windows open to prevent bugs and mosquitoes from getting in the house. If you see a bug that bothers you, we have a hand vacuum and mosquito racket in the laundry room that is an easy way to solve this problem, or if you are bothered by a bug please don’t hesitate to call Stephanie or Paul and we are happy to come over and take care of it for you.
