The property is gated but not fenced. We live onsite and are a working homestead, therefore certain designated areas are off limits to guests. The rental space is separate and private from our residence with its own driveway and parking space. Other things to note Located near the historic town of Scottsburg Oregon, this 50 acre property sits alongside the Umpqua river, renowned for its beauty, fishing and wildlife viewing. We encourage guests to bring binoculars and cameras to capture some of our regular wildlife on the property which include, Roosevelt Elk, White tail deer, Fox, Bobcat, Bald Eagles, Osprey, Quail, hummingbirds and countless other birds. Bring your fishing pole, Kayak or rent one of ours and experience the Umpqua river firsthand. Fish Year round for Small mouth Bass and Stripped bass and if regulation allows, seasonal Steelhead, coho and Chinook. Guests are welcome to thoughtfully harvest Seasonal fruits from the property which include heritage apples, pear, and blackberries for their enjoyment during their stay. Or enjoy the forgotten pastime of relaxing and just staring at nature This property is not handicap accessible There are three stairs to enter the wagon The bathroom is outside of the wagon in a separate building In order to disconnect, there is NO WIFI offered at the wagon The property is located across the river from HWY 38. Road noise can be heard at times. The rental property is located 7 min down a gravel road There is an incline/decline on our property that can be difficult for vehicles towing boats, campers etc. Once on property, the road to the wagon is grass / dirt
