Built of wood and with a mezzanine, the chalet offers two separate sleeping areas, a bathroom, a functional kitchen as well as a wood burning stove that creates a warm and authentic atmosphere. The space This charming rustic cottage, nestled in the middle of nature, offers a warm space including a living room with a sofa bed, a wood-burning stove for chilly evenings, as well as an equipped kitchen. Upstairs, an inviting mezzanine has a double bed and two single beds, ideal for a getaway for families or groups of friends. The cottage also has a full bathroom with toilet and shower. You'll find everything you need to make the most of your stay by the water. Chalet Descoteaux is isolated from the other accommodations on the site, making it a peaceful and intimate place, perfect for relaxing. Located on a white water site, you will have access to a multitude of outdoor activities: rafting, canyoning, canoeing, hydroluge or whitewater formations for the most curious and adventurous. Nearby, explore the Mauricie National Park, whose Matawin River marks the northern boundary. This park offers a variety of hiking trails, water activities and the unmissable expedition to Waber Falls. For hiking enthusiasts, the National Trail is only 25 minutes from the site. Even more adventure? Discover the Zec Chapeau-de-Paille or the Saint-Maurice Wildlife Reserve, where you'll find real hidden gems, like Dunbar Falls.
