Come get away from it all and unplug in the Zen Den at the Rest Stop For The Soul off-grid campground. This cozy tent is on a platform and under a moss roof built by Heather herself using materials sourced from the land on which it now sits. The property is nestled with-in state land and is walking distance from the river, a fishermans paradise. Across the river you can jump onto the North Country Trail. We are close to major ATV trails and are a 40min drive from Traverse City. The space The Rest Stop For The Soul is an active survivalist learning center and foraging hub. The common community space has electricity access, a hand-washing station, and both filtered and unfiltered well water. There is a simple outdoor dishwashing station for guests to use. Wifi is available if you are close to the cabin but it can sometimes be slow or spotty. Guest access Please be aware that the property is located on a seasonal dirt road and is close by state hunting lands. Other things to note The Zen Den kitchenette has a coleman stove with free gas. Paper plates and bowls and silverware are available. There is one pot and one pan for use. There is also a fire pit if you would rather cook over the fire. There are light in the tent powered by battery. There is an indoor use gas powered space heater for the colder nights.
