Other things to note ***** SUMMER 2026, Lake Lanier levels are EXTREMELY low causing a DRY cove-grass is growing and there is NO water. Our VIEW IS GRASSY and green instead of water and the waters edge is significantly farther away than it usually is. Current pricing reflects the current lake condition. SEE PHOTOS IN BACKYARD 2 FOR CURRENT CONDITIONS Every Fall, the Corps of Engineers lowers the level of the lake, so our view is subject to significant changes. It could be low, muddy, or even dry during the later Fall and early Winter months. The level during this time and the amount of time it takes for the water level to rise depends on several factors including rainfall. If the current lake level is a concern for your trip, please check the current level online (search “current water level Lake Lanier”) or check with the hosts for a current update. See all listing photos for views of the lake at various times of the year. This is a lake front property. Some things to note: we do NOT have a dock. Depending on the time of year, our cove can be very shallow or even dry (late fall and winter). During the summer, a pontoon, fishing boat, or any other small boat should have no trouble parking at the shore line. Larger boats may have issues depending on the current water depth. Please plan accordingly. Additionally, the house is located on a gravel road and our driveway is very steep and not ideal for large trailers. Please note that this home is in a wooded area near water. This means that sometimes wildlife will be around. This can include deer, snakes, turtles, beavers, fish, spiders etc. Please drive carefully on the gravel road and be aware and respectful of animal life.
