How to Request: Please let us know at the time of booking if you'd like this option, as we require a week advance notice to heat the pool for your arrival. ✓ Pool heat is available; during colder weather, heating performance depends on outdoor temperatures. We’ll do our best to maintain comfortable temps, but extreme cold may limit maximum temperature. ✓ Backyard surfaces and waterfall rocks may be slippery when wet. ✓ Upstairs bedrooms are carpeted, but main floors are hard surfaces, which can feel slick in socks. FOR GUESTS WHO REQUESTS FOR A HEATED POOL: Just a quick note regarding the heated pool and the solar pool cover during your stay. ‼️Pool Heating Update‼️ Following the January winter storm, our pool heat pump sustained damage and is awaiting major repairs. While the pool remains open, heating is temporarily unavailable. Thank you for your understanding. The pool is heated for your comfort, and the solar cover helps retain warmth overnight, keeping the water especially pleasant the following day—particularly during cooler evenings. For safety and comfort, the cover should always be fully removed before swimming. We’re happy to accommodate your preference in whichever way feels most comfortable: • Guest-managed: You’re welcome to remove and place the cover back on at your convenience after swimming. • Host-assisted: If you prefer, we can briefly stop by in the evening to place the cover back on once you’re finished for the day. • Complete privacy: We’re also happy to leave the cover off throughout your stay—please note the pool may cool slightly overnight in that case.
