Scenic Family Cabin

Enjoy the peace and tranquility of this scenic family cabin nestled on 3 wooded acres with the Brandywine creek flowing through it. This private property is located in Northfield, Ohio by the Brandywine Falls metro park. It is a 5 bedroom furnished cabin with a full kitchen, dining room, sitting area, bar area, wine room. The outside features two fire pits with plenty of sitting areas, covered porch, propane grill, outside lights. It is a very quiet area with nature surrounding the cabin. The space The cabin has a large living room including large screen TV and plenty of seating in room. The couches has recliners built in. Buttons on all sides of the couches. It has a fireplace and you will be given 30 pieces of wood. If you need additional wood, the get go gas station has bundles of wood a mile away. Please only use the allotted amount as we cut all the wood. The kitchen has a keurig and expresso machine with some complementary coffee and tea. The refrigerator has filtered city water available that is safe to drink. You have many pots and pans for cooking. In the back of first floor is a sitting area and a back bedroom with 2 twin beds and a ceiling fan. A half bathroom is in hallway. Washer and dryer are on main floor too. Upper floor has 3 bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom. Another Full Bathroom in the hallway. The other 2 bedrooms have queen size beds. Upon entrance to the left is a bar/entertainment area with a wine room and access to the porch. The last bedroom is at top of stairs with a double bottom bed and twin on top.. In the winter, we have register heating that warms the house. In the summer, we have portable air conditioners in some of the bedrooms. We have fans available. The house sits down in a ravine and is wooded which keeps it cool. We have a long driveway that enters the house with pillars that have address on it. The house sits far back and not visible at road. The house/driveway is lit up at night. You are close to many amenities including grocery/gas/stores/shopping. We allow 2 dogs maximum. Please DO NOT allow dogs on couches or beds. Please clean up after your pet. Guest access You will have access to the whole house including outside porch and firepit areas. It has a large yard to explore and the Brandywine creek runs through it. The Brandywine creek can be dangerous especially after rain and inclement weather. Enter at your own risk. The Carriage house is a historic building beside the cabin that is not open at this time. We have ring cameras on outside doors and no extra guests are allowed. No parties on premises according to airbnb guidelines. You will input a code to open main side door upon arrival. Other things to note We labeled all the light switches to make it easier to navigate turning on/off lights. All trash will be put into trash cans at side of house. The house heats up fast so you do not need all registers on during winter and keep doors closed. Do not open windows if cabin gets too warm. Please adjust the heat registers as needed. Shampoo/soap and conditioner will be provided including towels and linens. We do not have central air but some of the bedrooms have portable air conditioners. We have fans too. The cabin sits in a valley with many trees so it stays cool in the summer.
