Welcome to Horse Hideaway. This charming house features 2 bedrooms & 2 full baths. A very spacious kitchen & a 1/4 acre fenced in backyard for you and your dogs. The house is conveniently located 3.5 miles from I40 exit 280. 7 miles to downtown Cookeville. 8 miles to TN Tech & just 10 miles to either Cummins Falls or Burgess Falls State Parks. The house adjoins our horse pasture where you’ll get to meet & feed carrots to our horses Duke and Rio. Delmonaco Winery is very close. Permit #25-016 The space Welcome to Horse Hideaway. We own and operate a working horse farm. The house is next to our front 4 acre pasture on our +30 acre horse farm. The house is on a dead end street with a few neighbors. The house is approximately 1250 square feet. It has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and private bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has two twin beds. The second bathroom is arranged so that you can make it private to the second bedroom if you chose to do so. The full kitchen is large and spacious with plenty of counter space and cabinets. Normal kitchen appliances are available (Full sized refrigerator/ice maker, stove/oven, microwave, Keurig, toaster etc. We have basic kitchen utensils available. If you need something specific please let us know ahead of time. We love making food and likely have whatever you need on the farm. The living room has La-Z-Boy recliners and loveseat. Netflix, Hbo and Plex subscriptions are available on the televisions. Or feel free to log into your own accounts. The house has WiFi. The laundry room features a full-sized washer and dryer. We also keep household items such as a pack n play, highchair, booster seat, iron with full-sized ironing board. Bring your dogs and enjoy the 1/4 acre fenced in back yard. The yard adjoins our horse pasture. We provide carrots that you can feed to the horses. They absolutely love having guests stay and will come up to the fence to greet you if you go into the backyard. We have a Blackstone grill on the deck for all your grilling needs. The driveway fits two vehicles. If you need more parking or have a trailer, we have ample space on our farm available. We have four catch and release ponds available. Our largest is 3/4s of an acre and features bluegill, largemouth bass and catfish. Feel free to bring your bait and tackle. Guest access You have exclusive use of the house. We utilize an automatic lock with a personal code that is good for the duration of your stay. We will communicate the code prior to your visit. Other things to note The house is conveniently located between Baxter and Cookeville TN. Making it a perfect getaway location. There is a Mexican restaurant and Winery less than 1 mile from the house. You can find near endless chain restaurants just off the interstate in Cookeville but we highly recommend you check out Cookeville’s vibrant downtown with lots of great dinning choices. Our favorites include Seven Senses, Crawdaddies, 7 Cedar, Fire and Vine and Cookeville Pizza and Pub.
