Welcome to the Sugar Shack! A one of a kind whimsical hideaway experience in the woods.This adorable A frame cabin is 8'X8' complete with lamps, fans, fold out beds, 12' ceilings that give a spacious vibe, clear roofing for natural light, and a front porch for relaxing in the shade. It's a perfect unique tiny house glamping experience full of charm. Indoor bathrooms & outdoor showers are only a few steps away. Come enjoy the great outdoors any time of year. The space The shack is located on 10 acres of cattle pasture and cattle farm . It is a charming unique space for a fun glamping experience. Bathrooms are a short walking distance away and the outdoor shower includes a propane water heater for warm showers This farm is an active cattle farm and employees will be on property Monday-Friday 7am until 5 pm. You will be located in the wooded area behind white building . the bathrooms / shower are at the white warehouse building. Guest are encouraged to relax in the outdoors, enjoy the fire pit (bring wood) and visit with the cows. Sheets throw blankets/ towel are included in this booking if you would like additional blankets please feel free to bring them along ** PLEASE NOTE! THIS IS A 8X8 GLAMPING EXPERIENCE, THAT GIVES YOU THE FEEL OF CAMPING WITHOUT THE TENT. THIS SPACE IS NOT A FULLY INCLOSED INSULTED HOME . THOUGH WE DO OUR BEST TO KEEP THE SPACE MANAGED AND CLEAN FOR EACH GUEST THERE CAN BE BUGS, DIRT AND OUTDOOR ELEMENTS THAT MAKE ITS WAY INTO THE SHACK THROUGH THE DOOR AND THE WALL CRACKS DURING YOUR STAY. WE DO HAVE A LATCH ON THE DOOR . IN ORDER TO OPERATE THE HOT WATER AT THE OUTDOOR SHOWER YOU MUST CONFIRM THAT THE PROPANE TANK IS TURNED ON IN ORDER TO HAVE HOT WATER. If you would prefer a king size bed with a AC split unit, room to move around, indoor shower, securely locked doors, and fully insulted inclosed space check out our Grass Campers Cottage also available on the property . Our campsite is perfectly located between Gainesville Florida and Ocala Florida with a short 20 minute drive to either destination. This property is Surrounded by horse farms, cattle pastures, natural springs, The World Equestrian Center, and many lakes and rivers. At the property itself you can visit with the cows, relax in the shade or hang out in our covered entertainment space. You will have the opportunity to truly experience all of the beautiful nature that central florida has to offer from kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding and even zip lining near by. There is so much to do within minutes of your camping location. You will experience total tranquility on this country dead end road yet be close enough to small food marts, local diners, and quaint shops to cater to any needs you might have during your stay. This property has wide open spaces for camping complete with a large fire pit with bench seating, air conditioned bathrooms and running water. This farm property is a convenient 20 minutes from The World Equestrian Center, 8 minutes from Orange Lake, 10 minutes to Canyon ziplining, 15 minutes from Blue Highway Pizza and pearls barbecue , 20 minutes to Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park, 25 minutes from Homestead park for axe throwing and nightlife , 28 minutes to Silver Springs State Park, 30 minutes to Cactus Jacks trail rides, 30 minutes to Santos Trail Head, 35 minutes to Hog Waller, 45 minutes to Rainbow River and many more exciting outdoor adventures. So come stay on our wide open pastures here at Grass Campers Farm and enjoy everything nature has to offer here in central Florida. ** The closest convenient store would be the Dollar General located less than a mile from location ** the closest grocery stores are going to be in Williston or Ocala or Gainesville ** sites include indoor bathrooms and an outdoor shower just steps away - in order to experience a hot shower you must confirm that the propane tank has been turned on outside of the shower room ** the outdoor shower has a propane water heater to heat the water. the heater must be turned on to work. ** sites also include a bag of grain to feed the cows ** If a pet will be joining you during your stay they must be kept leashed and or crated during the stay and PETS can NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED . ** PLEASE NOTE!
