This warm and inviting 2 acre retreat offers a peaceful escape for families and small groups to reconnect, unwind, and enjoy the natural wonder of the Colorado Rockies. Our home is semi-remote meaning you won’t be staying directly in a tourist area or town. That means you will be driving to those area as desired. Surrounded by forest and sky, and just 30 minutes from Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, this cabin offers the perfect balance of comfort, space, and tranquility. Thank you for viewing and considering our home. ***Please note IF YOU ARE INSECT or NATURE phobic please be aware you may see or experience wildlife around our property. Elk, deer, goats, cow, humming birds, an occasional wild cat. Also note insects include spiders, flies, bees, field mice (the cute ones) we have a monthly and yearly remediation/cleaning service that keeps these out of our space as best we can. It’s standard practice of residents in our areas. All products are pet, human, and environmentally safe. But Nature always Rules and at times we act with additional remediation services if they arise. *** the good news at our elevation mosquitoes are very minimal :) 🚙 Things to Know: • Home is located 8,000 ft elevation be prepared for an approximately 10 min drive up mountain. Simply put you will be staying in a beautiful valley on a mountain. Roads mostly are paved and/or compact gravel. Roads are extremely accessible and safe but ensure vehicle is in good working conditions due to the mountain road. Inclines, declines, and switch backs with an amazing view. If visiting during the winter months we highly recommend a car with 4 wheel drive (4x4) or that is adequate to drive in snowy conditions with variable incline and declining road terrain. • Weather: Our property is located on a mountain therefore temperatures in the summer will be warm during the day. The mountain generally has a breeze. Nights will be cool with a breeze. Temps will generally be at least 10 degrees cooler than local towns or cities at lower elevations. We recommend a light jacket or sweatshirt for the evenings. Evening weather provides comfortable sleeping conditions. The Home was specifically designed without AC because of the conditions. Winter: Expect snowfall, winter conditions, and wind. • No smoking | Pets considered with approval • Easy self check-in with smart lock 🏡 The Space: • 2 cozy bedrooms with 2 queen beds, perfect for families or friends traveling together. In general winter conditions should be expected. Roads will require caution and vehicles SUV or 4 wheel drive preferred for drives up/down incline, decline, and switchbacks.
