The Casita @ Tall Pine Cabins

Escape and immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature at Tall Pine Cabins.  A unique experience under the stars and within a few minutes of all that the East Texas Piney Woods has to offer. The Casita is a cozy tiny home with modern amenities, outdoor fire pit and activities, with a backdrop of tall pine trees in the East Texas Piney woods. Enjoy the outdoors with a great patio and deck with outdoor dining. Just minutes from Tyler State Park and more. The space The Casita at Tall Pine Cabins is a modern tiny house with a great patio and outdoor space with a fire pit. Located on 5 acres in the East Texas piney woods, there is ample opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and nature. We provide an outdoor griddle and there is also a camp style charcoal grill. Two picnic tables are provided. One near the firepit and Casita and one nestled in the pine trees for a true outdoor picnic in the woods. The Casita has a small footprint with a nice flair. The house has pine shiplap walls with a nice size kitchen with cooktop, full dishwasher and a medium size refrigerator. No oven is available, but we provide a combination microwave, air-fryer and convection oven, along with the outdoor griddle. The nice size covered deck provides a wonderful opportunity to sit and enjoy the outdoors with an outdoor dinning table provided as well. The bedroom features a queen bed in a cozy space with ceiling fan, ironing board, closet and stackable washer and dryer. The full size bathroom provides towels, shower, starter paper products, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The living room features a L shaped couch that makes into a full size bed for two and a pull out chair bed that will provide sleeping arrangements for a child or small adult. Free Wifi is provided with a SMART TV where you can access local channels or access you favorite online TV apps. Kitchen appliances include serving for up to 6 people, plates, bowls, cups, cookware, wine glasses, silverware, ice maker, ninja blender, coffee pot with both pods and ground coffee. A starter supply of coffee pods and ground coffee are provided. Note that we also have a full-size camper on the property that will be available for rent in the near future. Guest access Guests can access The Casita with a keyless access code that will be provided upon registration. There is also a wash house on site and if access is needed to the full size washer and dryer please contact us through Airbnb for access instructions. Feel free to enjoy wandering around the 5 acres of our property and the beautiful tall pines and hardwoods. Other things to note Please note: Our property is rural and is located one mile from the Sabine river. It is not uncommon to experience wildlife in the area. The property just north of us is a pasture with cattle. Do not cross the fence to the adjacent property. You are in the woods! Watch out for poison ivy and briars and other vegetation. We are 5 minutes from Hawkins where the Red Rooster is a popular hangout, 10 miles from Tyler State Park with fishing lakes and hiking trails. 20 minutes to Gladewater - Antique Capital of Texas, and about the same distance, 20 minutes to the Mineola Nature Preserve. 11 minutes to Big Sandy - if you might want to enjoy Circle M Crawfish. Other areas include just 25 minutes to Christus and UT hospitals in Tyler and 15 minutes to Lindale - you need to visit The Pink Pistol, the famous Miranda Lambert's one-of-a-kind boutique located in her hometown. Enjoy a float from the old-fashioned soda fountain or a glass of wine from the Red 55 Winery tasting room. Children and adults alike will enjoy a visit to the Lindale Candy Company where you can watch them make candy.
