The Magic Teacup is a beloved family retreat, where Canaan Valley adventures for all seasons and interests await! Just 400 feet from the Timberline slopes and a close stroll to Dolly Sods trails, this 4BR home is perfectly positioned for outdoor fun! Ski or hike all day, then soak in the private hot tub or relax by the fireplace. Enjoy the many attractions of nearby Davis and Thomas. With room for family and friends, this cozy home is the ideal launchpad for year-round mountain fun. The space The Magic Teacup features a full kitchen with a small bar, right next to a dining room table in the great room that seats 10. Connected to the dining space is a cozy living room with a 55" TV and a working fireplace. A puzzle/game table under the stairs completes the great room. Off the dining space is a large laundry room, that also serves as the ski entrance, and a drop zone for wet jackets and boots. There is one queen bedroom downstairs, which uses the full bathroom that is both directly connected to the bedroom, and accessible from the front hallway. Upstairs has another queen bedroom, and a bunk room (4 twin beds) which share a full Jack and Jill bathroom. The primary suite with a king bed and full bath completes the upstairs layout. Outdoors includes a hot tub in a private deck space, a wood shed, and a main deck with a gas grill and outdoor seating. There is also an outdoor fire pit, if you prefer to light your fires under the stars. For a more backcountry winter experience, explore cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at Whitegrass Ski Touring Center, 10 minutes away. Or enjoy family fun at the Blackwater Falls State Park sledding hill. 🌿 Warmer-Season Adventures As the snow melts, the Canaan Valley transforms into a lush mountain playground. Hike the Dolly Sods Wilderness for world-class views and alpine bog landscapes, or explore the scenic trails and waterfalls at Blackwater Falls State Park.
