The Modern Treetop Terrace Retreat is one of a kind in Greer. Where else can you be less than a mile from all the shops and restaurants of a charming little city and still feel immersed in the serenity of nature? (Quick answer: only at this special home!) Bedroom 1 is equipped with a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, and French door access to the dreamy, string-lit terrace. Bedrooms 2 and 3 both have queen beds and share a hall bath with a double vanity and a separate shower and toilet room—allowing everyone space to get ready! There’s also another French door access to the terrace from Bedroom 2, which includes a child lock (for those moments when you’d rather not have little ones stargazing at 3 a.m.). Bedroom 2 also has a dedicated workspace with a full-sized desk, filing rack, and a closable door— allowing you to put your nose to the grindstone before heading out to explore the Upstate. Every room is themed to perfection, pulling inspiration from Greer itself, in this mid-century industrial daydream. But let’s cut to the chase—we ALL know what caught your eye. Let’s talk about the Terrace! With plenty of privacy, a perfect photo wall, seating for 10, a gas firepit, string lights, and forest views, there’s truly nothing else like it in the city. It’s perfect for morning yoga, al fresco dining, or simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings with a glass of wine as the sun sets. With summer fireflies, twilight bats, the creek crane, a resident hawk couple, strolling deer, and the groundhog fondly known as Mr. Pickles, this forest is full of life! Be prepared for a symphony of frogs, cicada songs, and owl hoots from spring through autumn. The home offers an open downstairs floor plan, allowing guests to enjoy time together before heading upstairs for a restful night on cozy memory foam mattresses. The kitchen and coffee bar are fully stocked and ready to handle anything—from a romantic getaway for two to a full family preparing a holiday feast. Outside, you'll find a fenced-in backyard and private parking for up to six vehicles with two being covered spots. Guest access When you book a stay at The Modern Treetop Terrace Retreat, you’ll have access to everything on the property—except the locked downstairs closet and the carport storage room. You’ll also have full access to the shared common space along the private road. Feel free to take a sun-speckled stroll through the forest or string up a hammock by the winding creek. This is a private gravel road shared by only seven homes. Please note that it is not paved, as the developers intentionally preserved its natural feel to protect the wetlands and surrounding forest. Enjoy easy, contactless check-in with a convenient keypad entry on the front door. Other things to note All of the neighbors are kind and wonderful people. The Greer Mill in the community is currently undergoing renovations and will soon become a vibrant hub for living and retail (we’re VERY excited!). That being said, during business hours, you may hear occasional light construction noise.
