Welcome to the Dungeness Bungalows 271 at 3 Crabs Road! This luxury duplex provides two private units, each with their own hot tub, nestled between the Salish Sea and the Helen’s Pond nature preserve. It is the ideal location for nature lovers, photographers, birdwatchers, and anyone wanting a relaxing getaway. There are separate fenced, as well as shared, outdoor spaces. The space Dungeness Bungalow 271 is entered through the center courtyard. While not beachfront, it offers peak-a-boo water views from the bedrooms and private patio. The home sleeps up to 5 people. There are two comfortable bedrooms, the first with a queen size bed and a single day bed, and the other with a king bed. There is one bathroom with a spacious shower, and a washer and dryer. In the kitchen, you’ll find high end appliances and plenty of table and counter seating for meals, or room to spread out a puzzle or board game. Enjoy a glass of local wine and watch your favorite show or movie on the 55 inch streaming-TV in the living room. The beach is accessed through a gate in the backyard. Follow the private path all the way to the shore and take in the majestic views of the New Dungeness Lighthouse, the Strait of Juan de Fuca shipping lanes, and Mt. Baker. This is a perfect beach for enjoying your morning cup of coffee at the water’s edge. You can explore the mud flats during low tide, and take a sunset stroll down the sand. You can even bring your own kayak or paddleboard. Out of respect for our neighbors, we kindly ask that you do not settle or participate in loud beach activities close to the other houses. Our home is in proximity to a duck hunters club. During Fall and Winter months you may hear shooting in the distance. While this is a new listing, this home is a well-established and much-loved vacation rental. We’re committed to providing our guests with exceptional comfort, care, and hospitality. Guest access Guests will have access to the home, back patio, back hot tub, shared backyard, and beach trail behind the home. Other things to note This home is part of a duplex and shares the back courtyard space with the other unit. We provide all basic necessities to make you feel at home including but not limited to; wifi, linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, oil for cooking, salt & pepper, tea, local coffee, and creamer. Please note: We love animals, but this home is not pet-friendly to help keep it allergy-safe for all guests. This home shares a yard and patio space with neighboring unit.
