Cuatros Pinos ~ Quiet Tall Pine Retreat

Nestled in the pines of a very quiet neighborhood just west of town, this listing is the result of a complete interior rehabilitation that took over a year to complete. Careful consideration was given to short term staying guests throughout the design while we updated ALL of the: Floors, ceilings, walls, doors, windows, cabinets, back stairs (now a deck), appliances (including washer and dryer), outlets (Some plugs have USB-A/-C ports), dimmable lighting, drywall, paint, custom desks & shelving. The space 10 Minutes to Town, 25 Minutes to Durango Hot Springs, 30 Minutes to Mesa Verde National Park, 45 Minutes to Purgatory Ski Area, 1 Hour to Pagosa, 2 Hours to Telluride, 0 Minutes to hiking trails, a playground, basketball, tennis, and pickle ball courts. The entrance to LaPlata Canyon is just 5 Minutes up the road! Cuatros Pinos is temporarily discounted while we perfect landscaping, fencing, exterior painting, and general yardwork. The interior space boasts executive level finishes/amenities, with a surprising ability to host multiple guests in a small footprint. All of the furnishings, carpets, bedding, mattresses, towels, cookware, and curtains are brand new. Work on the interior is complete. There will be no outdoor work preformed until thaw of spring 2025 (probably Mid-May). At that point as we approach summer, work on the property will be intermittent, and limited to the exterior. For your convenience we will not start work until 10AM, and will be cleaned up and gone by 6PM everyday (M-F). WE WILL NOT enter the home during your stay unless asked to for housekeeping, or emergency repairs etc. Guest access Guests may utilize the entire house, front & back yards, except the owners utility shed behind the building where tools are stored for intermittent access, and under the house "crawlspace". Other things to note Although we allow dogs, and potentially other caged pets, there is currently no "fenced in yard". Our plans are to complete a gated permitter fence in spring of 2025. We can provide leads, leashes, dog beds etc. We ask for the time being guests with pets be extra diligent with their attention to their pups as damage to neighbors households, and/ or other pets in the area will be solely the guests responsibility.
