The location The apartment is on the 1st upper floor of the "Alte Wassermühle" in Bredstedt, right by the beautiful mill pond. A bakery, a supermarket and restaurants are a 2-minute drive away, and the city center with its beautiful marketplace is a 10-minute walk away. The North Sea can be reached in about 10 minutes: Lüttmoorsiel, which is usually secluded but picturesque in autumn and winter, is one of them, and can be reached in said 10 minutes by car (but also easily by bike). In addition, there is also Dockkoog, which is located outside Husum, 25 km away, or Hamburger Hallig, a headland that juts out into the sea north of Lüttmoorsiel. There are a few very special attractions here. You arrive via a 5-km-long causeway, where many sheep like to frolic and have long since become indifferent to car horns. The causeway can also be crossed by bike. On Hamburger Hallig, you can first take a breather in an old Frisian farmhouse with a thatched roof, enjoying drinks and food typical of the area (Tote Tante, Pharisäer, crab sandwich) before going for a swim. It's just under 30 minutes by car to the Danish border. In Bredstedt and the surrounding area, there are quite a few places worth seeing that you should definitely visit during a stay in the far north. The amenities The stylishly and modernly furnished apartment is 54 m² and features a spacious living room with a flat-screen TV (satellite). The kitchen with dining table is equipped with a stove (ceramic cooktop), oven, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. The apartment offers you a nice bedroom (180 x 200) and a shower room. After a busy day, you can relax in the shared sauna in the basement. You can securely store bicycles you bring with you in a cellar room. Next to the mill is the mill garden with a terrace area that you are welcome to use. Garden furniture and a grill are at your disposal. Features A small, knee-high dog is very welcome here! The natural garden with the babbling water of the mill stream is an oasis for relaxation. The sauna (€8 fee) completes the picture. There is a washing machine in the basement for shared use. We are happy to provide you with free WiFi. You can park your car directly outside the property on the street (30 mph zone). This property is also easily accessible for guests arriving by train.
