Description

Experience the ultimate Northwest Reno getaway at this Iconic 1-acre Retreat. Whether you're here for a family reunion or a group adventure, our home offers unmatched amenities: a private basketball court, starlit hot tub, and a game loft with air hockey and foosball. Relax by the fire pit lounge or enjoy the mountain views from our lush backyard. Minutes from downtown and a short drive to Lake Tahoe ski resorts, we blend serenity with luxury. Book your stay now to secure this private oasis! The space Imagine waking up to soft morning light spilling over the hills, sipping coffee on the back patio while the scent of sagebrush drifts through the air, and the Sierra Nevada mountains rise in the distance. At this Northwest Reno retreat, space and serenity surround you at every turn. Set on a full acre of private land, this home was designed for gathering, relaxing, and reconnecting with nature without ever sacrificing comfort or convenience. Outside, life unfolds slowly and beautifully. The backyard feels like its own hidden oasis: vines curl around the shaded pergola, the six-person dining table invites long outdoor dinners, and a gas grill stands ready for summer cookouts. A sprawling grassy lawn stretches out for kids or pets to play, while a half basketball court adds a dose of friendly competition, complete with basketballs, footballs, and soccer balls waiting by the side. When evening comes, the propane fire pit flickers to life, and you can sink into one of the four chairs, a glass of wine in hand, as the stars begin to appear over the mountains. And if the night calls for a little indulgence, the private hot tub waits quietly nearby, steam curling into the cool desert air. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and inviting—a mix of southwestern style, thriving greenery, and thoughtful touches that make the space feel alive. The open-concept kitchen is the heart of the home, centered around a six-burner gas range, sleek new appliances, a wine fridge, and complimentary coffee for slow mornings. It flows easily into the dining area and living room, where plush couches gather around a gas fireplace and a Roku smart TV for cozy movie nights. Whether you’re cooking together, laughing over dinner, or sharing stories by the fire, the home has a way of pulling people closer. Upstairs, the second living room becomes a quiet hideaway for reading or streaming a show, while the nearby game room brings out everyone’s playful side with air hockey, foosball, and stacks of board games ready to go. It’s the perfect balance—spaces to come together and spaces to drift apart when you need a little time to yourself. When it’s time to rest, the bedrooms feel like a gentle exhale. The downstairs master suite is soft and sunlit, with a king bed, large walk-in closet, and a spa-like ensuite featuring a deep soaking tub and dual vanity sinks. Upstairs, you’ll find three more peaceful rooms—another king bedroom with views of the hills, a queen bedroom with cozy textures and calm energy, and a fun bunk room with two twin-over-twin sets that kids (or the young at heart) will love. A full bathroom with a dual vanity and bright natural light makes sharing easy, and a half bath downstairs offers added convenience. Though it feels tucked away, this home sits in one of Reno’s most desirable locations—quiet, safe, and surrounded by nature, yet only minutes from the best the city has to offer. Downtown Reno is just 10 minutes away, with its vibrant nightlife and local art scene, while Midtown’s restaurants, cafés, and boutiques are about 15 minutes from your door. The University of Nevada, Reno is a short 10-minute drive, and Reno-Tahoe International Airport is roughly 20 minutes away. For outdoor adventurers, Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe is only 25 minutes from the house, and Lake Tahoe’s crystal waters await in under 45 minutes. You’re also close to some of Reno’s favorite local gems like Idlewild Park, Rancho San Rafael Park, Peavine Trailhead, and family-friendly spots like The Depot Brewery and Louis’ Basque Corner for dinner after a day outside. As night falls, the air cools, the mountains turn violet, and the house glows softly from within, laughter drifting from the living room, the crackle of the fire pit outside. Whether you’re gathering with friends, reconnecting with family, or simply seeking a quiet escape, this home feels like a breath of fresh air. Here, time slows down, moments linger, and the simple things—good company, mountain views, and the comfort of being together—take center stage.
