Our boundary is Daintree National Park where Cassowaries and goannas wander onto the property . Our timber bridge goes over our creek then it's across the road to the beach. The air conditioned house has been refurbished with new interior , furniture , appliances and kitchenware. You can walk to the local cafe where you are right on the beach with great views. Cape Tribulation Wilderness Cruises does crocodile tours a 5 minute walk down the road. The space Airconditioned bedroom with king bed, bathroom and full kitchen. It is designed for couples who appreciate quality furniture , fittings and appliances. Being in the tropics there are lots of large doors opening to out door living . Rainforest Village store is a 7 minute drive away for laundromat (we do not have a washingmachine) , groceries and fuel. LOCAL RESTAURANTS: Thornton Beach Cafe - walk down the beach 3 minutes ; Heritage Lodge - lunch or dinner and ask if you can swim in the swimming hole, 5 minute drive away ; Daintree Siesta- 10 minute drive away ; Cape Tribulation Village with several lunch and dinner options - 15 minute drive away. TOURS : crocodile tour walk around the corner ; award winning Ocean Safari reef snorkeling leaving from Cape Tribulation Beach. Internet wi fi Free Daintree ferry tickets for stays of 4 nights or more. Guest access The entire property is yours. Other things to note The property is only for two people sharing a king bed. There is NOT another bed. All houses in the Daintree are off grid so you have to be careful with the use of power and water. Turn the lights, fans and airconditioner off when not needed and when you go out. The wi-fi is satellite is Optus router and is fairly reliable but can drop out in unfavourable weather. As the area is so isolated if there is a technical issue with the wi-fi I cannot guarantee it will be repaired for your stay. The Daintree ferry (the only access to the area not just my house) costs $51 return unless you stay for 4 nights or more then I supply free ferry tickets you pick up from my permanent residence on the way to check in. There is Rainforest Village store a 10 minute drive away but you are best going to a supermarket before going over the Daintree River ferry.
