WHAT IT'S ACTUALLY LIKE The house sits on nearly three acres of old-growth Douglas fir at the end of a private drive — two acres of it fully fenced, no neighbors within earshot. Mornings are coffee on the wraparound porch with fog burning off the treetops. Evenings are the fire pit, or the cedar sauna, or the massage chair and a movie while everyone else is still up talking. The layout is built for groups that want to be together without being on top of each other. Two kitchens mean one crew can cook dinner while another handles snacks and drinks. The great room holds everyone at once. When someone needs to disappear, there are five bedrooms, a porch, and two acres of forest to do it in. BUILT FOR GATHERINGS This is not a house you tiptoe around. Family reunions, wedding weekends, team retreats, milestone birthdays, graduation weekends, holiday gatherings — that's what it was set up for. Bring the whole extended family. Cook a real meal. Stay up late. Nobody is going to complain about the noise. Larger groups and organized events — ceremonies, receptions, catered dinners — are welcome. Message me before booking and we'll get the details and pricing sorted. THE AREA About 20 minutes to the University of Oregon, Hayward Field, Autzen Stadium, and downtown Eugene's restaurants and breweries. Willamette Valley wineries and Coast Range trailheads are a short drive; the Oregon coast is roughly 90 minutes. Robert lives in a separate cottage at the front of the property — close enough to help with anything, far enough that the house is entirely yours. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire home, including all five bedrooms and bathrooms, both kitchens, living areas, the fire pit, and all outdoor spaces. The sauna is in a separate building behind the house — a converted shed with its own spa‑style enclosed shower. The 220V Tesla charger is available (standard charging fee applies). The RV power hookup is available with a $30/night fee and requires a 30ft cord. The 2‑acre fully fenced yard is open to guests and great for kids or approved pets. Smart lighting and entertainment systems are ready to use throughout the home. You’ll have access to the lighting controls, but you can also ignore the smart system and just use the switches if you prefer. Other things to note Exterior security cameras face the driveway and entry areas for safety. No cameras are inside the home or in private spaces.
