Tucked away on a quiet, wooded lot, the cabin offers privacy, peaceful lake views, and direct access to nature. Lost Lake is an all-sport lake, ideal for swimming, fishing, boating, and paddling. Spend your days on the water using the provided kayaks, pedal boat and canoe, then unwind under the stars in the hot tub after a full day outdoors. Inside, there’s room for everyone to gather and relax, enjoy two dining areas for shared meals and game nights, plus a pool table for some friendly competition. Whether you’re here to explore or slow things down, this cabin delivers comfort and fun in every season. We proudly welcome snowmobilers, ATV riders, and side-by-sides, with trail access less than a mile from the door. The Buckhorn Restaurant is just 2 miles away and offers recreational fuel, making it an easy stop before or after a day on the trails. When you’re ready to explore beyond the lake, you’re perfectly positioned for day trips to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Tahquamenon Falls, and Kitch-iti-kipi. Lost on Purpose isn’t just a place to stay, it’s your basecamp for a true Upper Peninsula adventure, no matter the season. Guest access Freshwater Vacation Rentals will email your arrival/departure instructions with door/lock box code. You will let yourselves in and out. Also, Less than 2 miles from the Buckhorn restaurant which also has recreational fuel. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city. Fireplace: Gas fireplace located in living room Fire-pit: Two fire-pits: One located in the front, and one in the back.
