Your keypad code will be sent before your arrival. To lock the door, simply press the lock button on the keypad when leaving. Please lock up whenever you're away from the property. 📶 Wi-Fi & Smart Tech Wi-Fi Network: SpectrumSetup-4f Password: absurlemon479 Please do not unplug smart plugs, fans, or devices—they’re part of the systems that keep things running smoothly. 🌡️ The home has heating for wintertime. Feel free to adjust the fans if needed, but please leave ceiling fans ON throughout your stay—even when you're out. They help with airflow and temperature balance. 🍽️ Kitchen & Cooking The kitchen includes: Dishes, glasses, cookware, utensils Coffee maker, toaster, and a double oven for baking or meal prep Please DO NOT pour cooking grease outside or down the drain. Let it cool, place it in a sealed container or paper towel, and dispose in the trash. Trash, recycling, and compost bins are under the sink and clearly labeled. 2️⃣ ENJOY THE PROPERTY – AMENITIES & HOUSE RULES 🔥 Fire Pit & Firewood Enjoy our private fire pit out back—perfect for cool evenings and s’mores! Firewood is $5 per bundle. Stop by the on-site store, and David (the owner) will get it ready for you. Do not leave fires unattended, and make sure they’re fully out before heading in or leaving the property. 🐾 Dog Policy – ESA & Service Dogs Only Only registered Service Dogs please No cats please or other animals. The owner for now ask guest to let their pets enjoy their own vacation while you visit this vacation home. No unregistered pets or general pet stays, please. The yard is not fenced—dogs must be leashed and supervised outdoors. Service animals : Dogs must stay off furniture and beds unless protected with your own covers. Clean up after your dog immediately. Waste bags are provided, and disposal bins are located outdoors. Any damage or excessive mess may result in an additional cleaning fee. unregistered animal will accrue a fee of $300 per animal 🛑 Clear Communication in House Rules • No pets on furniture or beds. • Guest is liable for pet hair removal, damage, or odors • Dogs must be attended at all times inside the house • Guests must disclose if they are bringing a dog (even if it’s an ESA or service animal) . If you are leaving your service animal or ESA animal in the home, it needs to be in a kennel or in a confined, enclosed space preferably the mudroom that is provided at the entry of the home.. we will have baby gates. It is large area. 🚤 Boat Dock Access One boat slip is included with your stay. A second slip is available for $50—please request it in advance. Pontoon boats are welcome! Just let us know ahead of time. Be mindful not to block access paths or neighboring boat spaces. 🌳 Yard & Outdoor Space Large grassy area for lounging, playing, or leashed dog time. Please don’t leave trash, food, or pet waste outside overnight—this is a lakeside property and wildlife is common. ⚡ Need Something Extra? Need an extension cord, charger, or anything else? Just text us—we’ll drop one off or leave it near the door. CHECKOUT – BEFORE YOU HEAD OUT ✅ Clean-Up Checklist Load and run the dishwasher with any used dishes. Gather all towels and either: Place them on the floor of the main bathroom, or Toss them in the washing machine and start a load if you’re able—this really helps our cleaner flip the cottage quickly. Take all trash and recycling to the community dumpster. Details are in the in-home welcome binder. Check the fridge and pantry for personal items. 💡 Final Touches Close all first-floor windows before leaving to prevent water or wind from getting in. Turn off lights. Leave ceiling fans ON to keep air circulating. The owners are very pleased to have you and you’ll find that the front door is unlocked with the key on the counter for you along with additional welcome notes for the home. When you drive to the rental just note that there is a party and bait store next-door to the cabin, which is owned by the same owners of the rental. It’s a family run business where they will be happy to welcome you if you need any additional items such as drinks, snack, snacks, or fishing equipment. Other things to note We’ve poured countless hours, hard work, and love into renovating and decorating this home so you can have a great stay.We’re always doing our best to improve the home and always looking to add more amenities.
