Welcome to the Guten Tag Loft, nestled in the heart of New Ulm’s Historic District. This charming downtown loft offers a peaceful retreat, perfect for relaxation or a fun getaway. Inside, you'll find thoughtful details like room-darkening blinds, a fully equipped kitchen, reverse osmosis drinking water and ground organic coffee. We also use non-toxic, fragrance-free laundry and cleaning supplies. Sleeps 6 guests. Nightly rate covers 2 guests; $25 per additional guest. The space This newly renovated 2-bedroom loft blends modern comfort with timeless charm. One bedroom features a king-size bed, while the second offers a cozy queen—both with room-darkening shades for a restful night’s sleep. The open-concept living area boasts soaring 11-foot ceilings, exposed brick, and plenty of natural light. Relax in the spacious living room with a queen pull-out sofa, gather around the oversized kitchen island with ample seating, or enjoy meals at the intimate dining nook. Built in 1914, the loft’s historic character shines through its high ceilings and architectural details, while thoughtful updates create an upscale and inviting retreat. Overlooking New Ulm’s historic downtown, it’s the perfect setting for a romantic getaway, a nostalgic German-inspired escape, or a lively weekend immersed in the city’s entertainment and culture. Guest access Guests will have full access to the entire loft, including both bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, dining, and living area. You’ll also have access to in-unit laundry and a private entrance. The space is yours to enjoy without interruption. Other things to note This loft is part of New Ulm’s Historic District — you’ll enjoy exposed brick, tall ceilings, and original charm. The loft is located on the second floor, accessible via 24 steps, and is stair-accessible only. Parking is unrestricted on German Street, located one block from the Guten Tag Loft (see map). Street parking elsewhere is limited to 2 hours, 8 AM-5 PM on weekdays. Evenings after 5 PM and weekends are open parking anywhere downtown. Room-darkening shades are provided in each bedroom for restful sleep. No smoking, pets, or parties are allowed inside the loft.
