You will feel right at home in this cozy cabin with scenic Mountain views. Conveniently located right off the freeway, only 10 miles from Grants Pass! Enjoy your own private nature walk, where you can view wildlife right from the cabin! After exploring, you will feel relaxed and comfortable the moment you enter the cabin! The space This is a cozy and very roomy cabin that is seasonally decorated with all the comforts that you need! Sleeps 4 with 1 queen bed and a futon/1 bath/shower. Relax and enjoy the views from the deck, or in the fully fenced backyard with firepit and BBQ. Take your own private nature walk using the trail signs, with access for viewing wildlife right from the cabin. Great for taking your pets on a walk! We do not own the golf course property below, please use only our property for nature walks. Follow trail signs for a beautiful view of the property! We are located 4 miles from the town of Merlin, known as the gateway to the Wild and Scenic Rogue River. A rafter, kayaker and fisherman's delight! Hike the 40-mile river trail and check out the famous Hellgate Canyon. Also, day trip easily to Crater Lake, Oregon Shakespeare Festival in historic Ashland, the giant Redwoods and Oregon Coast, or visit one of the many wonderful wineries Southern Oregon has to offer! We provide our local farm fresh eggs (seasonal supply may vary). Explore our little library where you can feel free to take a book or leave a book for a future guest! Visit Hellgate Jetboat Excursion in Grants Pass only 15 min away or raft the Rogue River with Whitewater Cowboys Raft Rentals and Rogue River Shuttles here in town (210 Merlin Rd, Merlin, OR 97532 - less than 10 min drive from the cabin) Visit Rainie Falls for a nice hike about 14 miles a 44 min. drive away. Enjoy the town of Merlin with something for the entire family. Such as Area 61 - a relaxing spot with food trucks, craft beer, cider, and wine on tap, plus games and live music on selected nights! Dine at Baldini's Restaurant & Lounge here in Merlin -known for their famous fried chicken and other delicious comfort foods! After long days of exploring, you will feel relaxed and comfortable the moment you enter the cabin! Guest access Guests have full/private use and access to the cabin and surrounding yard. Guests may also a take nature walk and enjoy the 5 acre property. Follow trail signs for a beautiful view of the property! Parking is close and convenient right out front of the cabin. Hosts (Tyler and Hannah) live up the driveway but you will have complete privacy at the cabin. Other things to note Smoking/vaping OUTDOOR only-there will be a fee for smoking inside. This home is located near the freeway so you will hear some outdoor area road noise while outside (Ear plugs are provided). Cabin is located close to vacant clubhouse and horse barn that is part of the old Red Mountain Golf Course.
