Located just minutes from local attractions, it's the ideal place to unwind and embrace your inner halfling. The space We hope you find our cozy hole-in-the ground unlike any other that you have entered. Nestle up by the hearth enjoying a book or board game. You can enjoy the mountain views on the outdoor patio. We are bordering on crown land with spectacular views on Mt. Baldy. Here you can just be, enjoy nature, solitude, and truly unplug. *No TV or wifi, cell service is available.* The kitchen is fully equipped with a 2 burner cook top, small instapot, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and coffee, tea, sugar, mini fridge and bbq available year round. There is plenty of wildlife, songbirds, and the most amazing night sky you will ever see. We are on a high elevation in mountain country and weather can change fast. Snow can be expected fall to spring - winter tires are a must in winter months. Strictly no pets. Not suitable for young children. We ask that you do not venture outside of the fenced area surrounding the unit as we are a working farm and our personal home is located just over the hill. It is also for your safety as animals can be unpredictable. Guest access There is plenty of parking available. *DO NOT CLIMB ON THE ROOF* If you find a gate closed, please make sure to shut it again when you pass through. Be mindful of livestock. Other things to note While there is no Wi-Fi available, we have an abundance of wildlife year-round with hot, dry summers and snowy winters. The Courtney Ranch sits at nearly 1200 m elevation and borders vast tracks of crown land. The Ranch is located 25-30 minutes east of Osoyoos, just off BC Highway 3. That being said, our nearest groceries are available in Rock Creek or Osoyoos. There is one Mexican restaurant 10 towards Osoyoos and a coffee/breakfast, gas stations, pub and convenience store in Rock creek. There is a quaint cafe towards Beaverdell, they also sell wonderful sourdough. Registration Details Provincial registration number: PM843559076
