Just steps from Devil’s Kitchen Lake, you’ll have endless opportunities for hiking, fishing, and kayaking right at your doorstep. Huge fenced yard for kids & dogs, arcade game, Wi-Fi & Smart TV, Fire pits, on the Shawnee Wine Trail, hiking galore, 15 minutes to Carbondale & Marion. The space With the living room, kitchen and dining room altogether on the first floor, it allows the family and friends to be together in this great space. The bedrooms are separated from this area with French doors that will allow the early birds, peace, and quiet from the night owls. The downstairs our area has a lovely family room with a pullout queen size bed. It also has a table for board games and an arcade with approximately 40 games, including Asteroids, Pac-Man and all the favorites you may remember from your youth. You’ll have a washer and dryer and small bathroom, please note the shower is best for shorter people. We have front and back porches with a table that seats 6 and 4 additional camp chairs. Fire pits are located in front and in the fenced in backyard. We have a large collection of games, books and videos for relaxing time after enjoying the many attractions Southern Illinois has to offer. Guest access Guests can use both floors. Other things to note Nearby Attractions: The area offers something for everyone! Enjoy the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail, explore Giant City State Park, or hike the scenic Rocky Bluff Trail, located less than a mile away next to Devil’s Kitchen Lake, where you can also enjoy fantastic fishing and kayaking.
