Description
Escape to The Tiny House on the Farm, a cozy Modern Farmhouse retreat on a peaceful 12-acre working farm. Relax among sheep, chickens, and gardens, enjoy a queen bed, loft sleeping, full kitchen, outdoor grill, fire pit, and games. Just 20 minutes from Nicholasville, Danville, and Harrodsburg, it’s the perfect mix of country charm and convenient access. Book your stay for a serene, unforgettable getaway! The space This Tiny House was once a small community eatery in 2020, with a commercial kitchen where your modern, fully equipped kitchen now stands. You’ll have an Electrolux washer-dryer tower, a full-size range with air fryer, and a fridge-freezer with ice maker and filtered water. The main-floor couch pulls out into a ¾ bed—larger than a twin but smaller than a full—while the queen-size bed offers storage underneath. Up a ladder, a 10x10 loft features two twin mattresses that fold into couches, with a peak height of 48 inches, best for children or adventurous adults. Stay connected with high-speed Wi-Fi and enjoy the smart TV for streaming or relaxing after a day on the farm. Guest access You’ll have full access to the entire Tiny House. Out front, help yourself to fresh herbs—sage, chives, tarragon, oregano, thyme, savory, and more—for your cooking. Out back, enjoy the gas grill and two picnic tables. Tablecloths and umbrellas are provided for you to set up when you’d like to dine outdoors. Take a walk down the lane to see the peacocks, chickens, sheep, and our friendly livestock guardian dogs. Please don’t open gates or enter the pastures. For a nearby stroll or hike, the Peninsula Golf Course and Sally Brown Nature Preserve are just a few minutes away. Other things to note We also offer campsites to folks with RVs and tents. Our hookups for electricity are roughly 75 feet away from the house. Our RV and campsite guests are typically low-key folks who value peace and quiet and have short stays of 1 to 3 nights. You'll see an old-fashioned tobacco barn nearby - a classic reminder of Kentucky's farming heritage! It's our neighbor's and no longer in use, but it adds a touch of rustic charm to the view.
