Lakeside Retreat at Schroon Lake: Private Moorings

Lakefront heaven! Welcome to our lake house retreat on beautiful and peaceful Schroon Lake. This spacious house sleeps up to 17 people (15 beds.) Direct lake access with moorings, lakeside patio, firepit and beach. Enjoy paddleboards, kayaks, and canoe. Great for multiple families and small reunions. Full kitchen, BBQ and outdoor dining areas. Nearby hiking, Schroon Lake town, and unbeatable views! 30 mins from Gore Mt. Your group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique home. The space The whole house is yours, so enjoy your stay! Kitchen/Dining: This house can accommodate 3 families of six! It’s comfortable, spacious and meant for togetherness. Fully stocked kitchen and gourmet appliances. Cook together in the large kitchen and eat together in the dining room; the dining table can accommodate 12 people, with more seating in the kitchen and living room. Sleeping: 6 bedrooms that can sleep 17 people! Linens and pillows all provided. Comfortable beds with extra blankets. (Please note that there will be a charge for more than 17 guests of $100 per guest per stay.) SUMMER: Roomy lakeside patio with sun loungers. Walk-in sandy beach. Relax or swim. Use our 1 canoe, 2 kayaks, or 2 paddleboards. Our lake toys and life jackets are for your use! Floating dock with a ladder to swim to. At night, there’s a firepit for cocktails and smores. Lots of Adirondack chairs. Bring your boats, skidoo’s and watercraft, we have available two private moorings to secure your vessels. The #1 mooring secures boats up to 28ft and #2 mooring secures boats up to 17 ft. Both moorings have a water depth of approximately 5 ft and there is a beach at our lakefront. There are two public boat launches and one private boat launch available on Schroon Lake. WINTER: Gore Mountain- 30 mins drive Whiteface Mountain- 1 hour drive West Mountain- 45 mins Stratton (VT) Mountian- 2 hours 20 mins TONS of ice and winter activities on Schroon Lake- ice fishing, skating, hard water sailing, etc. WHAT WE DON’T HAVE (YET) Private dock for boats. (It’s in the works…) message me for the fall 2026 update. TOWELS: Please bring your own bath and beach towels!!! Forgot? Dollar General is 3 miles away. 😊 Guest access The whole house and lakeside is yours to enjoy! You will be given a code for the front door lock that will be your private code for your stay. Other things to note Please bring your own beach AND bath towels. Bedroom #2 is ATTACHED to Bedroom #1/Master Bedroom. You must enter the master bedroom (but not walk all the way through) to gain access to Bedroom #2. (This will be changed coming soon.) Bedroom #3 (Loft) is quite private, located at the top of the stairs, but does not have a real door (yet.) It does have a curtain in the doorway for privacy.
