This space has 4 private bedrooms, 1 common upstairs room with a couch/bed & 3 full baths, large fully stocked kitchen, huge dining room & leather couches in the living area for relaxation. This 1800's Railroad House is full of fun and unexpected pops. It's the perfect balance of whimsical and raw with old and new architecture. Created by Creatives, For Creatives. The space Solid bones from the 1800's, but new to Airbnb, the local Railroad Master used to man this house over 200 years ago. With vision and gusto we have restored it to it's rightful era with pops of mid-century modern and whimsical. We designed this space to be the perfect getaway for those wanting a creative retreat - something out of the ordinary while being recharged with family. Please note: there is one first floor bedroom & bathroom, but the rest are located on the second and third floors of the home. A large dining room with seating for 10+ for hosting workshops or eating Holiday dinners with friends and family. The beautiful and large completely white bedroom is perfect for photo-shoots and restful sleep. The second floor has a children's play area, Master bedroom + bathroom and a second bedroom and second bath. The Attic suite has two single beds & a king bed & a private seating area by the staircase. The home features lots of open spaces, a gas Living Room Fireplace, opened beamed ceilings, and exposed original stone interior walls. The integrated details of Historic and modern amenities and lighting are sure to make your stay an experience in history, creativity, design, and discovery! Only 5 minutes to Downtown Intercourse Village, the conflux of Amish country, with all its quaint shoppes and eateries, yet set on a quiet cul de sac, you will be afforded an experience of local culture and flavor of Amish life. The tiny town of Gordonville is surrounded by Amish farmland. The clip clop of the horses and their carriages on the peaceful countryside roadways will help you slow your pace and delight in this delightful getaway! 15 minutes to Sight and Sound Theater, the Shopping Outlets and eateries of all sorts allow you to choose a modern theme as well. A cedarwood fenced in yard, gas grill, sandlot for the kids, and a tree to hammock is sure to give you memories to last! As hosts, we hope you will enjoy the tranquility of this lovely home, and be able to experience the Peace and Presence of God, which the early settlers of this region also sought as they settled here!
