Welcome to our 700 yr old historic oast house nestled amongest pine trees in rural Sussex, just outside of Uckfield. Set in peaceful countryside, it is the perfect place for groups to connect, unwind and truly switch off. With gorgeous pubs and local walks on the doorstep, explore the outdoors and get lost in the countryside. Alternatively, relax by the fire, savour slow, quiet mornings, and reconnect over long, unhurried meals together. Flexible Airbnb cancellation options are available. The space Exterior layout: - Driveway for 3+ vehicles and car port for 2 vehicles - Large picturesque gardens with 2 ponds, a bridge and a rope swing - Courtyard patio with garden table and chairs Perfect for multi-generational celebrations and groups gathering to connect, it is impossible not to feel the peace and serenity. Nestled on the edge of the south downs, with incredible countryside on your dorstep to explore. Ground floor layout: - Entrance porch and hallway - Living area with large fireplace and logburner - Second communal living area with bookcase - Kitchen with dining space (round table) - Dining room seating 12 with pool & darts table and access to the courtyard - First Floor: - Bedroom 1. Master - Super King plus double sofa bed (plus ensuite with double sinks, bath and seperate shower) - Bedroom 2. Double size bed (pink room) - Bedroom 3. King size bed (teal and brown room) - Bedroom 4. King size bed (floral wallpaper, plus ensuite with bath and shower) -Second floor: - Bedroom 5. X2 small double size (4ft wide) beds with canopies, plus ensuite with shower The kitchen is equipped with standard UK-size appliances. There are two under counter size fridges and a small freezer compartment. We also have an extra wine fridge and small freezer in the dining room. The stairs to the first floor are not particularly steep and have a good handrail. The stairs to the second floor, which is the old oast, are steep but do have a handrail as well. If you get a clear night be sure to look at the sky, low light pollution means it's incredibly clear and peaceful. Being a charming historical house, slippers are a must during the winter months.
