Self-Catering French Colonial style Farm House, offering a break from the city life, situated on the famous Route 62 between George/Oudtshoorn and Uniondale. Deep, quiet rest is what one can expect between the breathtaking mountain ranges and wide open space of the surrounding areas. PLEASE NOTE: Even though our farm falls under the George disctrict it is NOT in George, but 60kms from George, 70kms from Oudtshoorn and 40kms from Uniondale. The space The properties are in renovated old houses dating back to as far as the 1700's. We endeavor to keep the character of the houses, whilst including modern day comforts. Guest access The Guest House is rented as a complete unit. There are 2 barbeque areas, one that can be used to entertain a large group of people. Other things to note The peace an quiet of the mountains and the plentiful stars in the sky makes this a very unique area. You could be lucky to notice plenty of bird species, including raptors as well as other endemic animals, like Baboons, tortoises etc.
