Fully stocked kitchen. Three Bedrooms: Two queen beds and two twin beds. Master bedroom has a wonderful view of Lake Michigan. One and 1/2 baths, washer, dryer, dishwasher, linens provided. Sleeps 6. Gorgeous sunsets from the deck. Short walk to beach, summer music, kite boarding, etc. Dogs considered. The fact that the cottage is also close to the bike path was also appreciated. We were thrilled at how well supplied the cottage was, usually there is something we have to run out for right away but it was all there.The deck was wonderful for watching sunsets and the water. The cottage is very well maintained, spotless, well appointed, comfy - has everything you need. We enjoyed being out and about during the day and coming back to the cottage for dinner and views on the deck. The kitchen is very easy to cook in and has everything you need to cook in or grill out. Bike/walking path right outside leads to a beautiful wooded trail, large park, and the beach. We especially enjoyed the nearby dog beach for our water-loving Labradoodle and the walk out to the lighthouse which afforded beautiful sunset views. This is a wonderful little beach town cottage with an amazing view of Lake Michigan. We stayed for the weekend along with a few friends and our dog. It was very clean and well maintained. Correne was extremely helpful. She went out of her way to make our check-in/check-out easy. I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family. It was our good fortune that this cottage was available. Our stay here was actually one of the highlights of our trip! The beautiful views from the deck over Lake Michigan provided us with hours of relaxation watching the activity on the lake and beautiful sunsets. The sunsets could even be seen from every window in the living room! The property is clean, well appointed and very well maintained. It is quiet with a lovely walking/ biking path right out the door. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a lake Michigan getaway. MS said... The cottage is conveniently located across the street from a beautiful walking trail that takes you straight to the beach (the trail is also part of a "loop" that is perfect for running, biking, etc). You can just as easily enjoy incredible views of Lake Michigan from the cottage's large, shady deck, where we found ourselves relaxing for hours on end. We were surprised at how private and quiet the property felt, and we frequently kept the sliding doors and windows cracked open to capture the lake breezes. The interior of the cottage is immaculate and equipped with all of the ammenities of home such as a dishwasher, washer and dryer, and cable television. We especially appreciated the ability to take our pug with us- he thoroughly enjoyed playing at the doggie beach located less than a mile away. We are already planning our return to Keaton Cottage next summer! Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway, Families with Teenagers. Guest access A wonderful shaded yard with picnic table for additional outdoor dining. Other things to note Mid June through Labor day Weekend - 3 night minimum Spring and Fall 2-night minimum Infants and children are included in the guest count. There is no extra charge for infants, but the maximum guest limit in the house includes ALL people, regardless of age. We have to count every human as a guest per our insurance. We can provide a pack and play upon request. Pets allowed with prior approval. Two dogs limit. Pet fee $10/night, (1 or 2 dogs).
