The space Welcome to The Retreat in Lechlade (next door to our sister property) newly renovated to a very high standard. The Retreat is one of two cottages (The Hideaway is next to it) - booking both is perfect for larger groups who need more space. Enjoy the perfect base for your Cotswolds adventures in this beautifully renovated two-bedroom cottage in Lechlade. Thoughtfully designed, spacious and fully equipped, it has everything you need for a comfortable, cosy, and memorable stay. BEDROOM 1 The cottage features two equally beautiful bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is a calm sage green with an exceptionally comfortable mattress, crisp white linen, blackout blinds for a great nights sleep and a desk for working and a comfy chair. The desk doubles up as a vanity with a large mirror and plenty of storage. With all our properties - black-out blinds, fluffy pillows and extra blankets and quilts for your comfort.

 BEDROOM 2

 The second bedroom is a relaxing taupe them with a stunning wicker-featured bedroom suite, bookcase, wardrobe space and bedside drawers.

It has a vanity with built in mirrors. As like the other bedroom, a very comfortable mattress, crisp linens and blackout blinds for great sleep and lazy mornings. LOUNGE Relax with a 50” TV and Netflix, snuggle under cosy blankets, or enjoy the cosy corner sofa perfect for reading, working, or creative time. 
 GARDEN Downstairs, the lounge opens onto a well sized private garden with 40 year old olive trees and a beautiful bistro set. Next Spring we’ll be upgrading the garden to become the perfect summer space! The garden gives Med vibes with a bistro set for 4, seat cushions and the perfect place for a coffee in the morning or evening wine! KITCHEN The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need: Montpellier fridge freezer, air fryer, microwave, Nespresso with plenty of pods, full utensils, dishwasher, washer dryer. The dining area is styled for hosting, so you can enjoy meals in comfort and style. 
 The dining table seats 6 on country benches with plenty of space for hosting.
 All our properties feature full kitchen cleaning kits including foil, cling film, baking paper, essentials, dishwasher tablets and washing capsules. Extra touches include hot chocolate, Biscoff biscuits and decaf options - you can even make a hot drink for on the road in a takeaway cup. BATHROOM The bathroom features a luxurious bath and a powerful shower for a refreshing end to your day. We also provide shampoo, conditioner and shower gel and a few essentials in case you forget anything. GUEST ACCESS Guests have exclusive use of the cottage, including both bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, dining space, and courtyard. One free parking space is included - please note larger vehicles may need alternative parking due to the archway - 233cm wide and 210cm high. Broadband is provided with speeds of 75MB. One well-behaved dog is welcome - our pet fee is £40. Check-in is 3 PM, check-out is 10 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request. Guest access Full access to the entire space.
