Guest access Guests will have access to both the indoor and outdoor areas of the property, including the lakefront garden, lake access, and parking on the eastern (entrance) side. Other things to note Cars can always reach the villa. During high tide hours, some taxis or tuk-tuks/autos may drop guests about 70 meters away, which is roughly a 5-minute walk. This is more noticeable from November to January, when tidal effects are typically stronger. High tide occurs twice in 24 hours, and lasts for a couple of hours each time. Our caretaker will be happy to assist with luggage and keep guests informed about any tidal effects beneath the bridge. The property is near a railway line, so occasional train sound may be heard. Guests who are sensitive to noise may wish to consider this before booking. Children must be accompanied by adults when accessing the lake area. Only guests who know how to swim should enter the lake. One panel of the bedroom’s sliding glass door is currently fixed, so direct access to the verandah from the bedroom is not available at the moment. However, the other panel opens smoothly, and guests can easily access the lakeside patio via a simple step. There are two other independent villas on the premises.
