The space HELPFUL INFORMATION: Stairs: Keystone Cottage has a steeper staircase to the upstairs bedroom—typical of older cottages—and fine for guests who don’t mind stairs. If you’d prefer easier access, two of the three bedrooms are conveniently located on the first floor and just a few steps in from the front door. Surroundings: In the heart of the Portage Lakes community, this home sits in a lively, diverse neighborhood with a free-spirited vibe. In warmer months, the sidewalk is active with locals and school teams, and the nearby fishing spot brings together a wide mix of people. Next Door: There are two older buildings either side of Keystone Cottage. One is Manda’s, a former fishing and bait shop that is currently closed and very quiet. The other belongs to our elderly neighbors who are also very quiet. Their relative occasionally stops by to help with yard work, so you may see him there from time to time as well as their small dog. Sound: The driveway sits between Keystone Cottage and Manda’s old bait shop, and the space between the two buildings can make passing traffic sound louder outside. Once you’re inside the cottage, however, it’s nice and quiet. Security: The front door has an interior chain lock that can only be engaged from inside. The sliding glass door also has a wooden security bar on the track for added peace of mind. THE RIGHT FIT: Who is Keystone cottage a good fit for: Families of all ages, mid size friend groups, couples, Pet Parents and People traveling for work *Keystone cottage is a good fit for people ok with a few stairs (to enter the home). Once in the house the main floor has living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms, bath, kitchen and laundry all on one floor. The exception, the third bedroom is upstairs with steep steps for access. It is also a good fit for people that do not mind stairs at all, and thus are able to enjoy the second story’s extra space and many unique qualities. Keystone cottage is very versatile, suitable for many types for travelers. Perfect for couples looking for a romantic weekend or a mid size group looking for a fun getaway with friends. Families and people with young children and babies are not forgotten! Keystone Cottage offers baby gear upon request and has the option to close off the stairs. DETAILED PROPERTY INFORMATION DRIVEWAY 2–3 Car Parking There is plenty of room to park two cars side by side. The long driveway can also accommodate a third car if needed. Guests may park midway up the drive so the car is near the sidewalk and gate leading to the home’s entrance, making unloading easy. ENTRANCE Front Door: There are three steps leading to the front door, which features a covered stoop and porch lights for convenient access. The keypad is there with your preset code and should make for easy entry. Upon entering the home, you’ll step directly into the open-concept living room and seating area. Key hooks and a shoe tray a located just inside the front door.
