Big and charming loft with wonderful views.

Large, charming, easily accessible loft (no direct neighbors) in a fairly recent and sleek building (close to Ghent ánd the Flemish Ardens, not far from Brussels) with plenty of vintage and characterful touches. It boasts incredible green views, abundant natural light, a garden terrace... And all the comforts: a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, a large queen-size bed + 3 beds, several dining/work tables, a beautiful Chesterfield lounge area, multimedia-options, a pellet stove, and more. The space We're also ideally located: nestled amidst valuable natural and agricultural land. At the foot of the magnificent Flemish Ardennes, yet close to Ghent (15 to 20 minutes) and numerous other towns and municipalities (Oudenaarde, Zottegem, Deinze, Ronse, Merelbeke, Wetteren, etc.). The large green garden is shared but is rarely used: there are beautiful fruit trees, the views even reach Ghent, and the peace and fresh air are a bonus. The surrounding area teems with unique natural sites: a Zwalm gem (because yes, we're also in the charming Zwalm region), and the village of Dikkele is just a few hundred meters' walk away. Numerous forests, rivers/springs, rolling fields, and tourist hotspots are all nearby. This region is a true walker's and cyclist's paradise! There is also a lot to experience in terms of cultural history, apart from countless shops, organic farmers and restaurants... At the same time, the large city of Ghent is not far away, as are the major access roads. Guest access Guests can actually use most of the loft freely, except for the bar for events, which we occasionally organize in the "open section" of the loft ;-). This open section will be further furnished in the coming period and equipped with additional facilities that can be used by both guests and for events. But for now, it's simply free extra space (for children, a dance between their parents, some playtime, etc.), space to store luggage and suitcases, etc. Other things to note Last but not least: our little company -and facilitator of this bnb-loft- is a social-ethical one, believing in a better world through the ideas & actions of... the people (not the systems). Bottom-up instead of (too much) top-down. Inspiring, connecting, motivating, empowering: our podcasts and our events have this mission, always. Without any political, ideological or other colour. Because in times of challenges, global to local, we have the power to create solutions, alternatives, answers... Seeking in what we have in common, no in what is dividing us. In that spirit, we welcome you to enjoy our accomodation, our local region (nature, culture...) and of course our country. We also welcome you to inspire us. Because you are not just a tourist, but a temporary resident: make yourself at home. Also because our loft lies very strategically: in the middle of relaxing, rewarding, beautiful landscapes, but still quite close to the bigger cities (Ghent, Oudenaarde), even big metropoles are not far (Brussels is 45 min). The best of multiple worlds ;-).
