We decided to start a B&B in 2014. We were able to design the house with great views and close to the water. Joann is a wonderful host and guests enjoy her breakfast and conversation. During Covid 19 she is being isolated as much as possible. . The house has in floor heating that makes the winter months comfortable Our location has been great for guests who come to enjoy the Pictured Rocks. The only drawback is in the winter months we aren’t easily accessible for snowmobiles until the bay freezes over but we get a lot of cross country skiers, snowshoers and the ice climbers. The ice climbers say the ice, just a mile down the road, is one of the best in the Midwest USA.
