The fishing house in Rødvig offers a unique holiday experience in a maritime setting. The home has a wonderful location 100 m from the harbor and beach. Rødvig is a lively harbor town with restaurants and cafes, shopping, tour boat to Stevns Klint, free tourist bus in the summer to various attractions. There are good opportunities for swimming and surfing. You can play paddle tennis, rent bicycles and take the train to Køge. The beautiful hiking trail along the coast, “Trampestien” also starts in Rødvig. The space The holiday home has been thoroughly renovated in 2025 and offers a new kitchen, bathroom and utility room with a washer and dryer. In addition, a cozy living room, as well as 4 small but unique rooms with sleeping space for 8-10 people. (Max. 8 adults and 2 children in bunk beds). The back room has a walkthrough via the middle bedroom. Note: All rooms are small, as it is an older house. The property is heated with air/water heat pump. The NILAN ventilation system ensures an always dry and healthy indoor climate. There is a new wooden deck with access to a wilderness bath, outdoor shower, barbecue, and fire pit. There are all accessories for bonfires, including twist bread sticks and accessories for popcorn, pancakes, and marshmallows. If you want to use the extra facilities, you must bring your own firewood or purchase it on-site. It can also be purchased at the local supermarket. The option is there, so you don't have to lug things around and don't buy more than you need. It's a service that we don't make any money on. Please note that the outdoor shower in the garden is only connected during the summer months. Other things to note 🧹 Required final cleaning: 1000 kr. The stairs are narrow and slightly steep. 🛌 There are duvets and pillows in the house. Bed linens, sheets, and towels must be brought with you. KWh/hr price: 2.5 DKK Meter is read upon arrival and departure. 💦 Water is settled separately after the stay ends. Cubic meter price: DKK 100 Meter is read upon arrival and departure. 🛀 The wilderness bath contains about a cubic meter of water. Therefore, it costs about DKK 100 to fill the wilderness bath with water once. Chlorine tablets are available so that the water does not need to be changed. It all depends on outdoor temperature how long it takes to warm up the bath. Keep the lid on while the water is heating. A proper lighting with high temperature, ensures a quick warm up 😊 It is important to read the instruction manual first.
