Guest access The guest has full, private access to the entire property and all of its amenities. We will send a code the day of check in for you to access the property for the duration of your stay. We also have a local manager who will be available should you need any assistance during your visit. Other things to note **Guests use ALL amenities at their own risk** ** Must be 21 years old or over to book ** - Occupancy - Maximum number of guests (day or night) is 8. (All ages count towards the guest count). Occupancy is strictly enforced by both us, and the city. Any guest found to be exceeding the max number of occupants allowed will be asked to vacate the premises, without refund for remaining stay. Any fines received from the city will be the responsibility of the guests to reimburse within 48 hours of receipt. - Sleeping - 4 bedrooms (1 King & 3 Queen Beds), additional sleeping on living room couch. - Parking - Only allowed on property driveway 4 cars maximum. There is NO on-street parking available. Property has no garage (typical in Joshua Tree), but there is some covered parking spaces under the carport. - Commercial Film - Only allowed with permit and prior consent. Location fee does apply. Please reach out BEFORE booking. - Events - Only allowed with prior consent. Location fee will apply, and guests will need to obtain an event permit with the City of Yucca Valley as well as supply Event Insurance. - Quiet Hours - From 10pm-7am residents are asked to refrain from any loud noise outside or emanating from the home. This includes talking loudly, playing music outside or inside with the windows open. Any fines received from the city will be the responsibility of the guests to reimburse. Complaints from neighbors, or any police activity will result in guests being asked to leave without refund. - Light Ordinance - Joshua Tree protects its night skies by requiring guests to turn outdoor lights off by 10pm. Please make sure to abide by these rules. - Hot Tub - You are using this at your own risk. No excessive drinking or drug usage while utilizing these amenities. You must rinse off beforehand. No pets allowed in the spa. Hair can clog our filters. If we find pet hair in the filter, you will be charged the cost to replace the filter + cleaning fees. Guests must put cover on and lock latches when not in use. By using the hot tub at this property, you acknowledge the inherent risks involved in using the hot tub. You understand the Owner/Management is not liable for any accidents, injures, or damage that may occur during your rental period. You must adhere to the hot tub's rules, and the Owner/Management cannot be held responsible for any harm or property damage. - Spa Heating - Is included in your stay. - Pets - (Dogs Only) allowed only if added to booking prior to check in and a paid pet fee (max of 2 dogs allowed). Pet fee is $150 per stay. We ask that you please pick up all dog poop. We also ask that you do not let them on any furniture. If there are stains on couches, rugs or bedding, there will be additional charges. - Critters - We have monthly pest control, but the remoteness of the home means you are in their habitat. Bugs, rodents, snakes etc. are common in the desert. Please make sure to keep all doors and windows shut and close them immediately after entering to ensure you aren't letting flies or other critters inside. - Smoking - Smoking is strictly prohibited at this property. This includes smoking cigarettes, vaping, cigars, pipes or any other smoking device. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in damage liability of up to $2,500 for any discovered damage to furniture or odors. Smoking outside OK as long as you are away from any doors and windows. You must dispose of all cigarette butts, etc. - Plumbing - Do not put any feminine products, birth control methods, dental floss, baby wipes, paper towels, or anything besides toilet paper in the toilet. The toilets are water-saving models and don't have a strong flush - limiting the amount of toilet paper used will help prevent a clog. The Rental Property is also on a septic tank system instead of city sewage, which are prone to clogging. - Fire Places - We have 1 indoor fireplace. It is an electric fireplace in the living room. - Firepit - By using the firepit at this property, you acknowledge the inherent risks involved in using the firepit. You understand the Owner/Management is not liable for any accidents, injures, or damage that may occur during your rental period. You must adhere to the firepit's rules, and the Owner/Management cannot be held responsible for any harm or property damage. You must turn off gas when not in use. ** DO NOT USE IN HIGH WINDS ** - Candles - Do not light any candles inside the property.
